I love Tuesday “toons” – I see myself in them FREQUENTLY and think “keep smiling – you’re still on the right side of the dirt!!”. Aging is a challenge but challenges make us stronger right?

Love all of these but the bottom two are perfect. I’m a big fan of not acting my age…lol I’m also very happy that there were no cell phones to record some of the things we did back in the day.

Mom definitely doesn’t act her age as she doesn’t feel she is her age. She too is glad she has lived when she has as the world as it is not is nowhere near as nice as it used to be.

These were great today. Our mom wishes all her parts still worked, but the warranty on some has definitely worn out. She stopped caring about what people think of her about 50 years ago. A couple weeks ago, she tripped on a chair leg in a restaurant and fell down. The restaurant was totally full as was the bar (probably 75 people at least). A ton of people ran to help her, but dad helped her up. She threw her hands above her head, said she was okay and told the entire restaurant she was the “floor show.” Got to roll with the punches!
