I have always loved Maxine and the amazing thing is it is a man who draws and writes the cartoons. he is always dead on.

Hallmark artist John Wagner created Maxine in 1986 for the Shoebox Greetings card line. He based the character on his mother, grandmother and maiden aunts who helped raised him. 🙂

I have always loved the Maxine comics. That first one is so true. There are several things that I used to buy but since the prices have gone up I now pass on them.

Thanks for stopping by on Canada Day! I gotta tell you, Kozmo and I were purr-suasive! The music in the park started a 5 pm. It was very loud rock and roll (Mom loved it) The grrls were good (Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Jo Jo) But Kozmo and I would NOT come in. Mom did not want to miss all of the party so left with Cinnamon and Nutmeg in her bedroom (with the door closed) and Jo Jo in the man cave in the basement (with the door closed) and she left the sliding door open so Kozmo and me could come in and out. We LIKED that! We did not come in until Mom took the baby out for a pee at 2 am. Those fireworks did not bother us one bit! Keep being awesome! Head Bonks Your #1 Fan Boy, Marvelous Marv
