Cats and Christmas do not mix. Well, the cats probably think they do. So many new things for them to destroy.
So far we’re doing well. Some cats don’t care about the tree and others destroy it. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
Years past our cat would sleep under the tree. This year, she doesn’t even bother with that, lol. She’s sleeping on the couch next to me right now. Lil’ cutie.
Funny how that works. Lil’ Bit sits under the tree, but doesn’t care about knocking the decorations off or climbing the tree. 🙂
LOL. My daughter is having fun with Milo and the Christmas tree this year.
If our kitties climb the tree then they climb the tree. We’re good with that. 🙂

And this is why our little tree sits high up on a shelf … and ornery-ments hang upon the windows!
Our Lil’ Bit hasn’t messed with the tree and we’re amazed. Unknown what Squeaker will do. We’ll see when he/she comes out of the safe room. 🙂
Mom has told us that the first years she lived in our house she had a real tree and young cats. It was trouble every year with climbing the tree, batting ornaments, and Bert chewed on the lights. We puppies have always been good with the tree.
Cats love trees. Our Angel Little Bit only messed with the tree the first year and after that just ignored it. Lil’ Bit the cat doesn’t care about the tree at all. We are happy about that. Your pups are the best and most well behaved. 🙂

I giggled at the Christmas ornaments. You will remember this line, “when a bell rings an angel gets his/her wings”. We placed several ornaments with bells in them around the bottom of your tree. We revised the line to: “when a bell rings a cat is in trouble”!
