My pet rock wants to stay at that hotel in Dubai. I told him fine, get a job and save up for it. The look I got…
I know that look, Mike. Seymour has given me that look more than once. 🙂
Wow, the next competitor in line for number of fountains against Rome is 200 (vs 2,000)?? That’s a big difference. And a building that can fit Disneyland. Craziness!! 🙂 Cool facts, for sure. Have a wonderful day!
I didn’t know this tidbit at all. Very interesting. Happy week, my friend. 🙂
I would stay at that hotel in Dubai if someone else was paying but now way would I ever go to Oymyakon Russia. How does anyone survive that kind of cold?
That makes two of us. Way to expensive. I don’t want that kind of cold either. 🙂
There’s no way we’d ever visit a place THAT cold! Thanks for the awesome fun facts this morning.
That makes two of us. I didn’t know any of these facts. 🙂
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox This is the page with all your messages on it. It’s my gmail. I don’t know what happened… check it out & maybe you can figure it out. Luv ya, good luck! HUGS, Dolly
I don’t have a gmail account, Marie. It wants me to fill out and add myself to gmail. Not to worry. Love you. 🙂
We like this. Those are some fun facts!
I’ve not done facts for some time and I liked these. 🙂
I wonder what you get for $28,000 a night. For that, I’d expect the room to have its own fountain, thus making the Burj al-Arab a close competitor for Kansas City. Too bad Dubai and Oymyakon have equally horrible climates, just in opposite directions. And all those places put together don’t have one-hundredth the attractions Rome does.
I’d rather go to Rome too. It’s on my bucket list. 🙂
Those were all sure interesting!
I’m glad you found them interesting. Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
We learned lots of new facts today. Thank you!
You’re welcome, Miss Molly. 🙂
Interesting facts. I didn’t know any of those. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
I didn’t either, Ellen. Have a Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
What’s the population of Oymyakon? Can’t imagine living there.
According to the 2010 census, Oymyakon has a population of 462. Apparently most people also can’t imagine living there.
Thank you for looking up the population. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
I can’t either. Way to cold. 🙂
that is a lot of fountains, the noise would drive me nuts
We have a fountain out front and we love it. It’s soothing to us. Happy Tuesday. Scritches to Beau. 🙂
Wow these are some very big, cold, wet and $$$$ facts.
All facts were very new to me
Hugs cecilia
Yes on all three counts, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂
When traveling with friends, we always find a fountain to jump into to take an usie!
Good for you. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
Hmm ~ fun factoids today ~ sigh
Hugs and love to you from me and Ziggy,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
They are fun. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
Thank you for this interesting post dear. Aloha
You’re most welcome, Cloudia. Scritches to Pixie. 🙂
The coldest place in the world is Washington DC. The natives are unfriendly and always trying to pick your pocket,
You’re right about that, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
Wow! Kansas City?! Gotta make a trip there, I love fountains.
I love fountains too and I didn’t know Kansas City took second place on fountains. 🙂
Whoa…those were some interesting factoids. Luckily I won’t need a reminder to visit Oymyakon. 🥶
I’m not going to visit there either. I can’t imagine. Happy Tuesday. A hug to you and scritches to Elsa. 🙂
Sandee, in really Cold Places Cars need Block Heaters to enable the to not freeze up and can be started the next time they need to be. One of the new gent’s to be assigned to my squadron had an electrical cord sticking out of the grille of his Buick and I asked him about that and he said he lived in Alaska all his live and if the car was not plugged in before being turned off it would never start again.
I didn’t know this, Mike. Amazing. I have friends that live in Alaska and they love it. 🙂
These are interesting ones. Hope you have a great day!
They are indeed. You have a great day too, Yvonne. 🙂
Such great fun facts today!!
Happy Tuesday!
I’m glad you enjoyed them. Scritches to the pups and my best to your peeps. 🙂
Fascinating facts, Sandee. Somehow I my subscription to your blog keeps going amiss. WordPress gremlins at work, I guess. Happy Tuesday.
Yes WordPress is having some issues this week. 🙂
I’ve been to Rome, I think they missed a few when they counted.
Thanks for the smiles, hugs!
Lucky you. Have a fabulous day. Love and hugs. 🙂
Imagine what happens with contact lenses in that Russian town – what a nightmare. Off to google!
I hadn’t thought of that. Yikes. 🙂
I’m fine with the idea that I will never see these places!
Sometimes I do not know what is in some corners of my apartment…
Have a fine day, dear Sandee!
My post will be tomorrow morning.
I hear you. I find things here that I didn’t know I had. Happy week. 🙂
Whoa, that’s some cool facts for sure! Today I’m even finished with Wednesday! Leg has been bothering me all day! Think I’ll rest it and put it up! Have a great rest of your day my sista!!! HUGS
You did a great job on Wordless Wednesday, Marie. Love you. 🙂
I had to look up that Russian town. It’s currently in the 70’s C. But all the people mostly eat is reindeer and horses and fish (often frozen) because no crops can grow.
Why on earth would anyone want to stay there???
I have no idea why anyone would want to visit or live there. 🙂
Whew, a $28,000 suite! That is something! 🙂
I would love too see that suite. It’s got to be like a mansion. 🙂
Those are all very interesting interesting facts. I’ve seen that Boeing building, and it is indeed huge! 🙂
I’ve not been there, but it sounds really huge. 🙂
Wow. Such great and amazing facts. Thanks for sharing them.
You’re most welcome, Patrick. Thanks for linking up. 🙂
people have too much money if they can spend that on a hotel room!
I hear you. I can’t imagine. 🙂
Now I want to visit Kansas City. 😀 What cool facts. Hugs, my dear.
That makes two of us that want to visit Kansas City. 🙂
