I work on that often. We had Mexican food at our favorite place last Friday and there was a loud kid. We didn’t enjoy him one bit. 🙂

How my folks raised six kids; seems incredible!
When we’re adults we have a huge respect for our parents. 🙂
That bottom-left one resonates with me big time! My Mom used to claim “if I had it all to do over again, I’d have dogs instead of kids.” My brother and I both knew she was teasing, but it was fun to see friends’ reactions! My dogs are my kids and while I love them all, each for their own selves, the one I connected with the most often – and still have that transcendent connection with – was/is Ducky. She visits me often with help from the Z Kids, but I do miss her physical presence.

I cared a lot because my parents dressed me in hand me downs from a cousin and they were ugly
and did not fit, she was 3 years older. not laughing at that one, but the others are funny
My mother went to rummage sales and that’s what I wore. Some fit, some not so much. I hear you. 🙂

Heeheehee3! My kids insisted on dressing themselves from a young age, and i didn’t mind as long as they were decently covered. It did make for some interesting outfits.

LOL on the dog one. My 2nd oldest started the, ‘he’s your favorite’ thing awhile back. He’s 100% joking, but one of my kids is very sensitive and if I said that dog joke, he would be mortified.’ Just thinking about saying it to be funny makes me laugh, but I won’t mortify on purpose. hahahahahhaa Happy 4th of July to you!
