Happy Tuesday

Post a funny picture. Post a not so funny picture.

Post whatever weirdness you want. That’s it.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Happy Tuesday post.

Being happy is a good thing.

  • I’m on two diets. I wasn’t getting enough food on one.
  • Apparently RSVPing to a wedding invitation “Maybe next time,” isn’t the correct response.
  • I put my scale in the bathroom corner and that’s where the little liar will stay until it apologizes.
  • Felt uncomfortable driving into the cemetery. The GPS blurted out “You have reached your final destination.”
  • My mind is like an internet browser. At least 19 open tabs, 3 of them are frozen and I have no clue where the music is coming from.
  • Hard to believe I once had a phone attached to a wall, and when it rang, I picked it up without knowing who was calling, and I’m still alive.

Good ones. My mom remembers growing up with a wall phone and a like 100 ft cord. It is odd, now people text you to ask if they can call you. The world is a strange place.

the browser, the phone and the maybe next time have me rolling on the floor with laughter. hilarious, thanks for the smiles.

  3. 6 Fur Angels' Mom says:

These are all great! Especially the cemetery / GPS one! I’d be a bit uncomfortable too, but it is funny in a bizarre sort of way.

Our phone sat on a countertop in the kitchen when I was growing up. And my parents had an extension on the nightstand in their bedroom.

I remember the phones in my childhood. Remember the party lines? I remember that too. I think we shared our line with about six different families. 🙂

Good Morning Ms. Sandee and thank you for hosting this blog hop. Ms. Purrseidon is on a diet and claims she is being starved – no treats – so purrhaps she also needs 2 diets.

In the 70s, talking cars arrogantly announced “your door is ajar* and lots of arguments ensued, especially with pickled drivers. It would follow that a GPS would ask someone to hold its beer…

  6. Tails Around the Ranch says:

{Giggles} I laughed at each of these but when I read “My mind is like an internet browser. At least 19 open tabs, 3 of them are frozen and I have no clue where the music is coming from” I actually snorted. And now I’m wiping up coffee from the laptop screen. LOL So funny and SO TRUE! Happy Tuesday.

LOL These are great. Especially the scale…I’m always calling it a liar and threatening to get a new one. And, yes, of course the phones with cords and no caller ID. How did we all survive? 🙂 Have a great day!

  9. Suzana says:

My favorite today is “My mind is like an internet browser….”. A perfect way of saying!
Thank you, Sandee for such a revelation! I wonder what is the way of reset what does not work…

Oh boy, yeah I remember the days of answering phone calls without knowing who was on the other end. Nowadays, if the number isn’t in my contacts then my phone does the work for me by simply not allowing that call to ring through. I love that feature except for on rare occasions I might have to watch for an unknown number for deliveries or other such things. That’s when I have to remember to turn that feature off so that I don’t miss those unknown callers. These were all funny. What a great stress buster!
