Spot on sayings today …
Humor and truth go hand in hand. 🙂
So true. 🙂 Hugs, my dear.
Dad says he loves and agrees with the “act my age” quote. All wonderful!
Dad is right about that, Cleo. 🙂
MOL..LOL…😹Great finds, Sandee, the sins have been payed..or not…Loved it! Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞
I’ll never get mine paid. I had some really great times in my youth. Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday to you too, Little Binky. My best to your granny. 🙂
They’re all good but my favorite is the last one about judging the book by a movie because we all know that is absolutely true. I don’t think I have ever watched a movie that was as good as the book
I don’t think I have either, Sandra. 🙂
Love these and that is so true about judging a book by it’s movie. The book is always better.
Always better as far as I’m concerned too. 🙂
LOL LOL
and a constant question why do they mess up a book with a movie.
Good morning and thank you for the LOL’s.
Hugs cecilia
I agree because for the most part that’s what they do. Good afternoon and you’re welcome. Hugs back. 🙂
Mom loves the one about acting her age. She thinks she always behaves like she is a lot younger than she is.
I do the same thing and I thinks that’s a good thing. 🙂
My favorite is #4. Have a great day, my friend! 🤗 ((Hugs))
It’s a classic for sure. You have a great day too and hugs back. 🙂
Love all those sayings. Love the one about a movie. You and Zane have a fantastic day.
Yes it’s so very true. Sometime the book is fabulous and the movie sucks. You have a fantastic day too, Marg. 🙂
Heeheehee! Instead, i’m going to act the age i want to be.
Hope you and Mr. Zane have a fabulous Tuesday!
There you go. I’m with you. You and Mr. Sweetie have a fabulous Tuesday too. 🙂
Thanks for the chuckle So true about movies and books. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
Yes it is and you’re welcome on the chuckles and the hosting. 🙂
Sandee,
That’s me, I don’t know how to act my age because I’ve never been this age before. lol
Who would want to act our ages. Not me and not you. 🙂
Those are all good but we really like the book one too!
Yes that’s a classic. 🙂
How to act our age? Wish someone could show us…. Have a great day.
I don’t think that would even work, Nancy. 🙂
The Hubby and I were just discussing “Eat, Pray, Love”…he’d just watched the movie, and he had questions. I’d read the book, so I gave book answers. There are very, VERY few movies that correctly demonstrate the book; one is “The Hunt For Red October”. Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, Sam Neill, James Earl Jones…oh yeah!
I agree about the book versus the movies. 🙂
If you can’t afford to pay for you sins, you must have had a greeat time!
I’ve had a really great time, Kismet. You already knew that didn’t you. 🙂
These are great shares. I dislike when they ruin a good book by making a fast buck with a quick movie that stinks! I know I Have never been this old either! HaHaHa! I am always trying to be a better person but without GOD I am nothing at al. I loved stopping by today and I am early. HeeHeeHee. HUGS to you my friend
I don’t like that either. Sometimes the book and the movie are miles apart. Hugs to you my friend. 🙂
Last one my favorite and oh so true… 🙂 Happy Tuesday, Sandee!
There is so much truth in humor. 🙂
Some clever and astute advice today! Yeah, my bank account is probably far short in paying for my bill of misdeeds. 😇
Mine is pretty thin this month too. Lots of extra bills. 🙂
Great sayings, thanx.
God bless.
Thanks for linking up and commenting, Victor. God bless you too. 🙂
We have to keep sense of humor these days – don’t we?
Yes we do and that’s what I’m trying to do, Sandra. 🙂
These are great! Happy Tuesday!
Happy Tuesday to you too, Eugenia. 🙂
All of them are great! Have a terrific Tuesday!
We go for happy here, Miss Molly. 🙂
Good ones, Sandee. Mom likes to read a book before she sees the movie or else she never finishes the book:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I hear you and sometimes the book is better than the movie. 🙂
Good ones! That last one about the book & movie is so true.
Hope your Tuesday has been a good one. <3
It is indeed. My Tuesday has been wonderful. Hope yours is the same. 🙂

Good grief, Marie. You have such bad luck. I’m just saying. You roll with the punches though. Love you bunches. 🙂
Never judge a book by it’s movie is so true. I’ve watched a couple of movies after reading the books & was somewhat underwhelmed.
So very true, Tony. 🙂
A whole lotta books would sue their movies if they could…
You’re right about that. 🙂
My favorite quote refers to the book v. movie reference. I’ve never once had a movie, however great, live up to its book. That’s the power of the imagination.
They never do. I agree with you. 🙂
Yes on the book-movie one. Always disappointed by the book! Twilight?!!! Worst fist movie ever…. There are others too of course.
I didn’t see Twilight. We quit going to movies years ago. 🙂
Age is just a number anyway, right? 🙂 (I was going to type LOL but thought better of it, ha ha)
Yes it’s just a number. You cracked me up with LOL. 🙂
