Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.
Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.
If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.
Here are this weeks questions:
1. The longest I have been without electricity is _______________.
2. I am so tired of waiting for _____________________.
3. I can’t believe I still remember _________.
4. I wish I could go back and experience _________ for the first time again.
Here are my answers:
1. The longest I have been without electricity is eight hours. I was living at home still and a horrible storm so severe that it blew part of our barns roof off. Scary.
2. I am so tired of waiting for most anything. I bring a book to read so my blood pressure remains low.
3. I can’t believe I still remember all the wonderful pets we had in my youth.
4. I wish I could go back and experience being with my mom for the first time again. She’s been gone since 1990. I still miss her so very much.
An ebook or audiobook is always with me; it’s amazing how often a couple of minutes living in a story can make things get on an even keel again.
I agree with you. It works for me too. Happy day and weekend. Hugs. 🙂
I love your answers, Sandee! I might try this challenge today, not sure. Looks like fun!
Love and hugs and scritches to the kitties.
It is a fun challenge. I’m going to do yours next week. I had trouble answering yours this week. Love and hugs. 🙂
No worries! 🙂
Great answers! Mom misses her dad all the time and he has been gone since 2001 and Gramma will be 90 soon. Mom dreads the day she doesn’t have a parent anymore.

Moms are most precious. Mine was a wonderful jewel. 🙂
Yes, I still miss my Mom who passed in 2008. I still talk to her, and my aunt and my grandma, though. And as a kid, I only had 2 dogs, and the memories aren’t so good…
Moms are wonderful. I sure miss mine. We had two dogs that had sad ending. Okay make that three. Sad, but I so remember them and think of them often. Happy day and weekend. 🙂
I am so happy you joined in the fill-ins- thank you. Great answers. I am sorry your mom has been gone for so long. I bring a puzzle book everywhere to amuse myself. Have a nice weekend. XO

Having pets is such a blessing, I remember having lots of them growing up, too, always a cat and a dog, often a hamster or bird, and a few snakes. Have a blessed weekend!
Pets are a huge blessing. Have a fabulous weekend. Love and hugs. 🙂
Good answers on all of these. I always like to have something with me to pass the time in a waiting room. These days my phone provides a lot of entertainment.
My phone works too, but I always have a book I’m reading. Happy weekend, Ann. 🙂
Great answers. Mine wouldn’t be so eloquent. The moment I want would be back singing on stage. And I’m waiting for my next vacation.
I didn’t think my were eloquent. Sometimes it’s hard to do these fill-ins. Happy weekend. 🙂
We never forget our loved ones, fur babies and humans. 🙂

Thank you. I’m in my 70s so it’s the way of things. 🙂
Lovely fill-ins. Bringing a book with you while waiting for appointments makes great sense. Bravo. I usually remember once I get there and see a whole lobby full of peeps. Sigh.
If I have a good book I’m fine. It’s a easy fix to keep my blood pressure down. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. 🙂
