Great photo of that cat! Nice someone shoveled a path for it. Mom is learning a lot about diet these days. It is quite complicated when you try to change the way you have always eaten, but Mom feels it is best for her. She has had a good diet and plenty or exercise but it is time to totally redo the diet to almost vegan which is not an easy thing.

I know that. I’ve working hard on making better choices. I’m not as thin as you, but I’m working on it. Ten more pounds to go. We don’t eat a lot of meat, but I can’t imagine getting rid of all meat. 🙂

  2. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

That kitty is walking through a wintry wonderland! She’s probably mad at her human now. 🙂 Seriously, that’s a beautiful picture. I love to look at the snow but I don’t like being out in it. We got an inch of snow yesterday but it’s these frigid temperatures that’s bothering me this morning. It’s currently 20.7º. They forecast us to drop to 14 but I don’t think it got that cold since they were saying the low would come closer to 8am. I’m hoping it won’t fall anymore and begins its climb. The high is only expected to get to 29º. It’s just a bitterly cold day in east Tennessee.

Kindness is a good focus word. We all can benefit with being more kind to one another. I definitely want to put back into place more exercise and a better diet. The holidays wreck my eating habits. I’m more than ready to begin a more healthier diet. I’m thankful for every day I’m given, too. That’s something that’s easily taken for granted. We assume there will be a tomorrow or that we can do the same things that we did before. Tomorrow is promised to no one and with life changes come with how we do things. For those of us fortunate to embrace a new day in our senior years…did I just say “senior”? then we understand the value of each sunrise.

Thanks for hosting the Friday fun, my dear. Stay warm and be safe!

    • Sandee says:

What a lovely comment, Cathy. We did well this year as far as eating is concerned. In fact I lost another two pounds in December. I’m so driven to get my figure back. I’m close. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

Our Angel Little Bit hated the snow too. She made it clear that going potty wasn’t going to happen either. Had to come out of the mountains and find some green for her to do her business. 🙂

  3. Sandra Hangey says:

I can’t answer #2 because I already know everything, just ask my hubby. ha ha.. that cat is beautiful. tax season is always on my mind when Jan comes along

  4. 15andmeowing says:

Cute kitty. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Kindness is a word we should all focus on every year. Have a great weekend. XO

  5. yvonne473 says:

Oh that cat looks like one of mine that passed away in November of 2020. I still use her picture as the wallpaper on my desktop. The picture is lovely. Great fill ins…we had similar answers to #2. Have a great weekend!

  6. Bette A. Stevens says:

Traveling down the kitty trail… 😍 Hubby shovels a path from house to barn so our two fabulous felines can have indoor recess (in the barn) on cold winter days! LOVE YOUR FILL-INS. Have a great day and an amazing weekend, Sandee! xo

  7. UP says:

That looks like one of our cats!

My focus word for 2022 is contentment.
This year I want to learn more about the Bible.
Ihave been in pain during the first week of 2022.
In this season of my life, I don’t want to be a burden..

    Have a great weekend.

    • Sandee says:

I hope your back feels better soon. I know that pain. Thanks for playing along. It’s good to see what others come up with. You have a great weekend too. 🙂

  8. Kathe W. says:

What an awdorable cat! I cannot imagine Lucy even putting one paw into the snow! Here are my fill-in anwers:
    1. My focus word for 2022 is honesty.
    2. This year I want to learn more about Italy and speaking Italian.
    3. I did an early spring cleaning of the entire home after removing Christmas decorations during the first week of 2022.
    4. In this season of my life, I need to take good care of my self and my sweetheart’s health and well being.

  9. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Lovely kitty braving the snow. We occasionally get snow, maybe a couple of inches every 7 or 8 years, but the boys still had to have their walks in the fields. They enjoyed it more than me!

  10. The Canadian Cats says:

Very well done. Especially #4. I do agree with you. Although some days are really tough….This just lets us know that we made it to another day. Funny, I never have these difficulties when it’s +25C. lol

  11. Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb says:

It was just above freezing today. Marv went out and came back in grumbling that the “Cat Paths” had not been shovelled and he could NOT get around the house! I told him the roof was more important and he was disgruntled. He even pointed out that the cat you had for Feline Friday had a Cat Path and that I was falling down on my parental duties! He said to send you whisker Kisses and Head Bonks.

    • Sandee says:

Tell Marv to chill. Moms shouldn’t be overworked. I saw your snow. Wow, that would be a lot of work. Love and scritches all around and a big smooch to Marv. 🙂

  12. cateemmah999 says:

What a wonderful photo. I hope that kitty is headed somewhere warm and cozy. Great fill-ins to start the year, Sandee. I especially like your answers for #1 and #4. Happy weekend, my friend! 🙂

  14. Cleo says:

Dad says that snow is beautiful and it reminds him of his New Englad days, but he hopes he never has to deal with it again. Your #4 answer is right up there with dad’s thoughts. He says he’s happy as long as he wakes up breathing every day.
