  1. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

That is a pretty kitty. I am not at all crafty either. When I first started school our primary teacher tried to teach us to knit. We had to make a knitted square but the girl sat next to me knitted mine as well as her own.
The amazing thing is that as I typed this her name popped into my head! That was 65 years ago and I wouldn’t have seen her since that first year. Memory is a wonderful thing. If only I could remember what I was thinking half an hour ago!

I’m so with you on that last sentence. We had home economics in high school and we were supposed to sew a blouse. Mine was so pitiful. I hated that class. 🙂

  2. stevebethere says:

Aww! what a lovely cat and superb pose 🙂

  3. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

We’re in agreement on number #3. 🙂 I betcha you’re a better crafter than you let on but the important thing is to have fun. If you’re having fun then mission accomplished. Don’t worry about it not being purrfect. 🙂 Have a funtastic Friday and weekend, my dear!

    • Sandee says:

Yes on #3. What a difference it makes. I don’t worry about not being perfect. I’m happy in my skin. You have a funtastic Friday and weekend too, Cathy. Big hug. 🙂

  4. My GBGV Life says:

The kitty is a pretty fall looking one! Have a fun cruise, we don’t know of any Pittsburgh other than the one in the east, though and that doesn’t seem to be a cruising destination, LOL!

  5. Caren says:

Ok so this must not be Pittsburgh, PA (obviously lol)….love that kitty!!! I can draw but I am NOT “crafty”….well, not in the artistic sense.

  6. 15andmeowing says:

Such a pretty kitty, she looks a lot like Summer. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you will get to do some more boating this month. Have a nice weekend. XO

    • Sandee says:

Once you do it it’s pretty easy. I was eating way to many chips and junk like that. I’ve lost 10 pounds and with all the walking my body is looking better and better. 🙂

  7. Invisibly Me says:

The cruise to Pittsburg should be one to look forward to! How long will that take you to get there from where you two live?

I hope October is a great month for you! xxxxx

    • Sandee says:

Takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes from our marina to their marina. It’s a great place to hang out for a few days. I hope October is a good month for you too. 🙂

  8. yvonne473 says:

    What a gorgeous kitty!

You are having a great year. A cruise to Pittsburgh and lots of reading sound perfect to me. I’m not very artsy either.

I hope you have a great weekend!

  9. Eastside Cats says:

The Hubby says he’s got no talent, but he’s magnificent with food, making lovely meals that I truly enjoy.
What is artistry? Comparing yourself to others will never satisfy; you have talent that’s just a little different from others.
    This I believe!

    • Sandee says:

Hubby is the chef around here too. I’m more than happy to do the dishes. I was talking about simple crafts. I don’t compare myself to anyone. I would like to do crafts though. 🙂

  10. The Gang at LLB says:

What a pretty kitty this week! Sounds like your October is going to be filled with fin and relaxation!!
We really enjoy your neck of the woods…the weather was really nice in Lodi when we stopped on Tuesday night!
    xoxo,
    Beth and the Gang

  11. Margy says:

Oh what a fun thing, Feline Friday. My last cat passed in 2014 and I haven’t had one since due to our travel schedule. But I’m a cat lover at heart. – Margy

  12. Patricia says:

So far this year I have accomplished very little. I don’t have any plans for October. I am eating healthier and losing weight but the only exercise is walking. I occasionally do some crafty stuff. I like to crochet and embroider. Hmm…I sound boring!

  13. Jen says:

The whole first floor facelift- wow! That is very exciting!! I think it’s been a very busy year for you 🙂 I hear you on crafts! can do some crafts, but they have to be ones little kids could manage 🙂

  14. Rosey says:

Oohh a cruise to Pittsburgh sounds nice. The weather will be nice and cool too. And I agree with you about being artsy. I have the same thing going on over here. My daughter is the artsy one in this family. 🙂

    Here’s mine:
    1. So far this year, I have accomplished being two months ahead on my lesson plans.
    2. My plans for October include family time and pumpkin patches.
    3. Being single may be difficult, but it’s worth it.
    4. I don’t think I’ll ever master .being an excellent cook. My food is mediocre at best.
