I’m not going back to blogging just yet but I will do one answer on the fill ins HERE! 4. Being a Widower is the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me.
I know, Mike. I know this is a very hard and scary time for you. Big hugs. 🙂
Sweet kitty!
We live on a farm so only have one close neighbour. The village is about a mile walk away so we don’t get any trick or treaters here. I think I would hide too if we did!
That’s a good thing. Hiding is a good thing. We usually go to the boat, but that’s not going to work this year. 🙂
Awww…so cute and so soundly asleep. I think the scariest thing is being in a haunted house.
That too. I don’t like scary things or places. 🙂
Aww! so comfy and cute heheh!
I liked the replies 3. made me giggle I would run a mile too heheh!
Have an excorcismtastic safe FFS and thanks for hosting 😷😷😷
I’m not living and sleeping in a haunted house. Happy weekend, Steve. 🙂
I hide for trick or treat too. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve passed out candy.
Same here, Ann. I’m just to tired to do that anymore. I do love to see the costumes the kids wear though. 🙂
I am scared to drive on/through mountains. I do it when I have to, but I never WANT to, you are a much braver soul than I. 🙂 Sorry to hear about your last answer, though I know you are happy now, so hurrah for happy endings!! Here’s mine:
I might get to watch a full basketball game this weekend (the games keep getting rained out, since the kids have to play outside now).
I want to see my kiddo play in a full game before fall is over (LOL! I do!).
If my house were haunted, oh yeah, I’d move too.
A moment of financial destitution after a surprise divorce is the scariest thing that ever happened to me. That was not fun.
I don’t know much about your divorce, but I was surprised when it happened. You seemed so happy. Well you were, but your hubby wasn’t. We’re both better off now. 🙂
I was so happy. I thought we were forever. He had a girlfriend. His boss at work. I didn’t know. It still baffles me if I think about it. But he’s married to her now, and they have a new life. And we have ours, and I couldn’t have changed it no matter what, and now I wouldn’t want to. So that’s that, I guess… life is full of surprises, good and bad. I think it sounds corny, but it’s true, that the bad things make us appreciate the good things that much more. I don’t regret being married, I was happy and loved our life. If I never have to see him again though, I’m okay (better than okay) with that too.
Big healing hug my friend. 🙂
What a sweet kitty. I’d move if my house was haunted too!
I don’t think I could take living in a haunted house. 🙂
The last couple years, we turn off the lights and hide on Halloween too. It is a pain in the furs with the constant stream of kids ringing the bell wanting candy. This year we are in competitions all weekend, so we will need to be in bed early on Halloween. Hopefully no one will cause a loud ruckus. Happy weekend!
I hear you and all that barking. When we did do this hubby would sit out with the neighbor and hand out candy in the driveway. Little Bit and I liked that. 🙂
Cute kitty. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins. Sorry about the ex, but glad you found true love after that. We don’t have to hide for trick or treat as no one ever comes out in the country, they like places where houses are closer together. Have a nice weekend. XO
The bad was overshadowed by my life now. It’s all good. We’ll probably get kids, but we’ll go dark and hopefully they will pass on by. 🙂
I might make it to my goal weight by the end of the year. I want to make it to my goal weight by the end of the year. If my home were haunted I would not believe it because I don’t believe in haunted houses. And the fourth one is the exact same as yours my life with my ex-husband was the scariest thing that ever happened to me in my life. Looking down the barrel of a gun does not a good thing
I’ve done that too. It’s scary. Not to mention all the times I was beat up by him. So many trips to the emergency room. 🙂
Such a sweet snoozy kitty! Hey, I think everything is haunted this year.
I think you’re right, Brian. That explains so much. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee thank you for hosting this blog hop…We don’t get trick-or-treaters, so I’m not sure what I would do if such a thing happened.
Purrseidon
You’re most welcome, my friend. We’re not going to answer the door. Lights out and ignore. 🙂
I’m glad your cataract surgery went well. I like to hide for Halloween too, and eat those little chocolate bars.
We used to have hundreds and hundreds of kids come here on Halloween. We spent a fortune on candy and had such a great time with the kids, but I’m just to old for that anymore. 🙂
That is such a sweet little one and being a Tabby is such a plus! Why? Well I am one and that counts oodles. Dad says it has been long enough that he does not think of his ex, too often that is. It was a terrible time and he thinks that if he was not with her maybe his accident would not have happened as he was “Gittin outta town” for a week or so. Ah well. Spilt Milk and all. Thanks for the great Hop!
Miss Fitz
We each got out of a terrible marriage and that’s a good thing. It sure was expensive though and I paid the freight. You’re most welcome, Miss Fitz. Glad to have you as part of the hop. 🙂
Did I get this right; you remarried your former spouse? Interesting!
I’ve been in houses that had ghosts, back in my real estate days. Oh, yes, and my grandfather showed up at my childhood home often, after he passed away. I’ve been on the tour of haunted warehouse (Savannah, GA) and haunted basement (Minneapolis, MN), but didn’t feel anything like what I did while in those houses that I visited as a real estate agent!
No, I didn’t do that. The x was scary. The one I have now is the one I should have waited for. I believe there are houses that are haunted. 🙂
Sure looks sweet and confortable!
Kitties are so precious when they are asleep. 🙂
Sweet tabby!
I agree Marie and Goddess Athena. 🙂
What a sweet face. I like the black and white image, too.
We used to enjoy handing out candy. I even set up a haunted garage way back in 1999. It’s been years since we’ve had any kids come around. As in the past few years, I may put out a bowl just in case.
Your fourth fill-in makes me sad. I’m so glad you’re doing so well now. ~hugs~ Hope you get to take that drive, too.
Don’t be sad. It was a good learning curve. If I’d not gone thought that experience I wouldn’t have understood hubby as well. Hugs back. 🙂
You have a great attitude. ~hugs~ And you were smart to get out.
The precious faces of sleeping babies and kitties and puppies gives me all kinds of warm fuzzy feelings
Hugs Cecilia
Yes on all three. Hugs back. Happy weekend. 🙂
Oh what a precious kitty ~ so serene ~ ^_^
Xox ~ to you from me and Angel~ have a great weekend^_^
Live each moment with love,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Yes I do love to watch them sleep. Puppies too. Have a great weekend, Carol. Hug to you and scritches to Angel. 🙂
Oh my what a sweet cat! Love tiger kitties! Love your answers- Especially number 3! Cheers! and here are my answers:
1. I might make a pie this weekend.
2. I want to take a nice long walk through all the autumn colored trees before fall is over.
3. If my house were haunted, I’d leave.
4. Once at a county fair my youngest son disappeared and we had to get help to find him and that was the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me. He just decided to go look at something and “poof” I could not find him in all the crowds. The local police had already found him and he was in the llost and found booth! Whew.
Yikes on losing your son. It’s so easy to do too. I’m glad all turned out well. Happy weekend. 🙂
Out of curiosity, do you believe in ghosts and haunted houses? If a house were cheap because it was supposedly haunted I’d still move there because I can’t say no to a discount. I might regret it afterwards though 😂
Hiding is a good idea during Halloween. Keep the sweets for yourself 😉
Happy Friday, Sandee – hope you and hubby have a relaxing weekend! xx
I do think there are things that are beyond our understanding so yes I think there are ghosts and haunted houses. Happy Friday, Caz. 🙂
We don’t get trick or treaters where I live and we usually travel during Halloween – maybe next year – sigh. I want brisk weather before fall is over. If my house were haunted, I would move. The scariest that ever happened to me in 1980 I was lost at sea for 3 days off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale. We (6 of us) were rescued by the U.S.S. Oliver Hazard Perry, a newly commissioned Frigate from Bath, Maine. We were found in the Gulf stream off New Smyrna Beach. True story!
Oh my you were lost at sea for three days? Yikes that would be most frightening. I’m glad you were found. 🙂
Me too! It’s one of those life events you don’t forget.

Otis’ Answers:
1. I might prowl around the yard later if it stops raining. 2. I want to enjoy the fall before fall is over. 3. If my house were haunted, I’d befriend the ghosts. 4.Falling in the water while prowling around is the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me.
Falling in the water is never a good thing, Otis. I don’t like it either. Happy weekend and thanks for playing along. 🙂

I just can’t do this anymore. I had fun doing it in my younger years, but I’m to old to do this anymore. I do hope there are fun things for the kids to do. You have an awesome weekend too, Bette. 🙂
Your cat is having sweet dreams, she is smiling.
🙂 🙂

Haunted houses are spooky, but here is a little sneaky-tip, most houses are haunted. Spirits are everywhere!
I believe that too, Jen. 🙂
I used to have recurring nightmares about haunted houses, so I would definitely move if it happened to me! 🙂
I don’t like scary stuff at all. 🙂

Thanks, Crystal. Happy weekend. 🙂
Happy weekend to you too Sandee.
What a sweet kitten! I have to say with you, being married to my ex was the scariest thing I ever endured. 🤗((Hugs))
When you do a bad thing it’s bad. We got it right now. 🙂
That kitten looks like I felt after my long week. 🙂 Sandee, you answer for #3 was exactly what I thought of. No reason to stay in a haunted house!
I don’t think I could make one night in a haunted house. I’m scared of stuff like that. 🙂
What an adorable photo. Dad says if our house was haunted he’d love it. Sure, dad. I’ll just bet if he saw a ghost he’d pee his pants in an instant.
Tell your dad I’d pee my pants if I saw a ghost too. 🙂
Sorry I haven’t been around just wasn’t feeling that great. This coming week I have my cousin coming over Wednesday to spend the night and take her shopping. She’s 84 & hubby just passed away a few months ago. and then a month later her dog passed away. We’re trying to find her another small dog no luck yet! Bummer. So tired today (Sunday night) I’ve been working on Christmas presents (crocheting) I have so many to do I hope I can do them all on time. I should’ve started sooner. Oh well, love you sista… just wanted to let you know I’m still alive! HUGS HUGS AND MORE HUGS & A SMOOCH ON THE SIDE!!!!!!!!!!
It’s always great to hear from you, Marie. I’m glad all is well in your world. Hugs and smooches back and I love you bunches. 🙂
What a sweet and sleepy kitty! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #2 sounds wonderful. Mountains and forests are my favorite types of scenery. Have a wonderful week!
Thank you for co-hosting the fun. I so enjoy this hop each week. 🙂
I might change my hair style.
I want to get the gutters cleaned before fall is over.
If my house were haunted, I’d sell it..
Being robbed at knife point and open heart surgery (a tie) is the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me.
Yikes on your number four. Scary indeed. 🙂
