Lil Bit, our Chia does the same thing. She worms her way down under the covers and lays up against me all night. It is so endearing.

How often do you turn over a blanket, quilt, even a bath towel and find those eyes staring at you. Our Lucy is generally sleeping on stuff instead of under it. She will find highest and softest pillow on the bed or couch and make her nap nest. She will curl up on the foot of the bed, where the comforter is folded. She will sleep directly on the wood floor or concrete when she wants to cool down. Strange little critters our pets, they are.
They are indeed strange at times. Very entertaining though. We can make our bed and Squeaker will get on the sheet to wait for us to put on the bedspread. So cute. Sometimes she stays there for a bit. 🙂

Some days I’d like to hide under the covers, too. It never works in my favor, though. That pesky alarm pulls out of bed every morning. While I am blessed to be able to do so, I still wish I could stay awhile longer. Oh well…retirement is coming perhaps in less than year away. 🙂
