Awww Mondays

Join us every Monday for Awww…Mondays.

Post a picture that makes you say Awww…and that’s it.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Awww…Mondays post.

What better way to start the week than with a smile.

Squeaker and Lil’ Bit had their annual vet visit February 10th. They were very sore from the vaccines for two days and it broke our hearts to see them hobbling along and not eating right. They did find great comfort in sitting on dads lap. After two days they were back to their wonderful selves.

I am glad the bad side effects from the vaccines wore off before too long. They are both so cute.

  2. Ann Thompson says:

It’s never fun going to the vet. Especially if they jab you with things that make you feel not so good for a while. Glad they are doing good and feeling like themselves again

    • Sandee says:

It’s a job getting them there, but they need to be seen each year. The shots are important, but we didn’t like how sore they were. 🙂

      • Eugi says:

We have a mobile vet. Callie was too hard to handle and traumatized when we took her to the vet. She wasn’t treated properly by her first vet, and kitties have an excellent memory.😽

I know the feeling of watching our pets in pain. When Beau stands on the kitchen floor with his back legs splayed because they hurt I hurt with him. glad it was only for 2 days

Sweet faces…..what would we do without them? I do NOT want to know! Teddy takes a couple of days to recover from a vet visit but so do we – we have to CARRY HIM in and out and that’s no easy chore!

    Hugs, Pam

  5. My GBGV Life says:

Awww, vet visits are no fun except for Nelson, he loves to go and get attention and treats. Sorry your shots had you down but you guys recovered and it is all in the rearview mirror now!

  6. Suzette Benjamin says:

You both take great care of Squeaker and Lil’Bit. I’m glad to hear that they are doing well now and that they find comfort in dad’s lap and both your loving care. Happy Awww Mondays. Grace and peace to you, Sandee. Hugs.

I am sorry the vaccines pained them. Glad they are much better now. They are both beautiful. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO

Dear sweet Squeaker and Lil’Bit. bless your itty bitty kitty hearts. I recall the pain and agony from my
senior flu vaccine last fall. I had one good arm for several days.
    Kisses
    Cecilia

  9. Carole Schulman says:

Sweetheart’s, which one of those vaccines affected you like that? So glad you were comforted through the ordeal.

  10. Xena, Lucy and Chia says:

Xena: Except for our every three year rabies vaccines, we just get titers done at the vet’s. If they come back positive, it means we’re protected and don’t have to get the vaccines! Wonder if Lil Bit and Squeaker’s vet knows about that…(and we only have to get the titers done every 3 years cause the vaccinations usually last at least that long.)

  11. Darla M Sands says:

I have never experienced this with our kitties; all our six girls over the decades have recovered minutes upon coming home. ~scratches head~ I wonder if your state/county/city require a more stringent schedule or extensive vaccinations. Anyway, it’s a relief to us all that they’re doing well now. 😀 Hugs, my dear.

  12. messymimi's meanderings says:

It breaks your heart, but you know it’s for their best and they are living longer because you care. You and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful week and give Squeaker and Lil’ Bit an extra petting from me.

  13. ghostmmnc says:

aww poor sore kitties. They get over it pretty fast, but we just keep thinking – they have no idea really why we take them to get stuck and make them hurt. 🙁
