What better way to start the week than with a smile.

Squeaker and Lil’ Bit had their annual vet visit February 10th. They were very sore from the vaccines for two days and it broke our hearts to see them hobbling along and not eating right. They did find great comfort in sitting on dads lap. After two days they were back to their wonderful selves.

Oh, those kitties…you have two amazing winners! And they are so lucky to have you.
We do. We love them so much and they know it. Happy week. 🙂
I am glad the bad side effects from the vaccines wore off before too long. They are both so cute.
We were happy when they were back to their normal self. Happy week, Jackie. 🙂
Vaccines are no fun but we know that sitting on your dad’s lap helped you both feel better more quickly!
It did comfort them and us too. Happy week, Duke. 🙂
It’s never fun going to the vet. Especially if they jab you with things that make you feel not so good for a while. Glad they are doing good and feeling like themselves again
I hear you. They did fine last year, but not this year. Happy Monday and week, Ann. 🙂
Aww, going to the vet is never fun. I’m glad they’re back to their wonderful selves. Happy Monday.
It’s a job getting them there, but they need to be seen each year. The shots are important, but we didn’t like how sore they were. 🙂
We have a mobile vet. Callie was too hard to handle and traumatized when we took her to the vet. She wasn’t treated properly by her first vet, and kitties have an excellent memory.😽
I know the feeling of watching our pets in pain. When Beau stands on the kitchen floor with his back legs splayed because they hurt I hurt with him. glad it was only for 2 days
I hear you. We feel so helpless when they are in pain. Happy Monday and week. Love and hugs to you and scritches to handsome Beau. 🙂
Sweet faces…..what would we do without them? I do NOT want to know! Teddy takes a couple of days to recover from a vet visit but so do we – we have to CARRY HIM in and out and that’s no easy chore!
Hugs, Pam
I hear you and I don’t want to know either. Love and hugs to you and scritches to handsome Teddy. 🙂
Awww, vet visits are no fun except for Nelson, he loves to go and get attention and treats. Sorry your shots had you down but you guys recovered and it is all in the rearview mirror now!
Yes it’s all in the rearview mirror and we’re thrilled about that. Happy Awww Monday and week. Scritches to the precious pups. 🙂
You both take great care of Squeaker and Lil’Bit. I’m glad to hear that they are doing well now and that they find comfort in dad’s lap and both your loving care. Happy Awww Mondays. Grace and peace to you, Sandee. Hugs.
They go to dad for comfort. He’s the big pushover in this home. It’s a good thing. Happy week, my friend. Love and hugs. 🙂
Most excellent. Happy week, dear friend. Blessings and hugs to you.
Understand very, very well… poor darlings 🐈🐈 Many kisses for them.
We felt so very helpless. I’m so happy they are back to normal. Happy week. 🙂
Lovely pics 🙂 Loved to Squeaker and Lil’Bit, Take care.
Have a nice week ahead 🙂
They are most precious to us. Wonderful family members. Have a great week. 🙂
I am sorry the vaccines pained them. Glad they are much better now. They are both beautiful. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
We didn’t have this problem last year, but this year was awful. Scritches to the kitties and love and hugs to you, Ellen. 🙂
Glad squeaker and lil bit are back to their happy selves now again! Sending love to all of you Sandee!
We are thrilled they are back to normal. Sending love back, Carol Anne. 🙂
Dearest Sandee,
Treasure your fur babies, you’re so fortunate to share your lives with them: to have them as members of your family is a blessing!
Thank you for hosting, Sweetie!
XO Daniela
They are our family members. We love them so much. Thank you for linking up, Dany. 🙂
I’m sure glad you two cuties are feeling all better now!
We are glad too. We love our precious babies. 🙂
We’re glad they are doing better.
We were so happy when they were back to their normal selves. Happy week. 🙂
Dear sweet Squeaker and Lil’Bit. bless your itty bitty kitty hearts. I recall the pain and agony from my
senior flu vaccine last fall. I had one good arm for several days.
Kisses
Cecilia
Yes it’s painful getting the flu shots for several days. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
We empathize!
Da Boyz both got sick when they had their shots a few years ago; it was a hellish time.
It sure was a hellish time. We felt so helpless. Happy Awww Monday and week. 🙂
It’s hard to see them not feeling well, but it’s a necessary evil. They are so cute. Hugs and love, my sweet friend.
I hear you, but it sure makes us feel helpless when they aren’t feeling very well. Love and hugs, Kymber. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
It sure does. I so agree.
Sweetheart’s, which one of those vaccines affected you like that? So glad you were comforted through the ordeal.
I don’t know, but they were both in the same shape. We were happy when they were back to normal. 🙂
We’re the same way, Dad’s have great healing properties!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
They sure do. They know to go to him for that comfort. Happy Monday and week. 🙂
It’s unfortunate that the shots caused them pain, but it’s important to be protected.
We agree with you. It makes us feel so helpless when they don’t feel good. 🙂
I love you my Beautiful Loving Only Friend. I love our Kitties too. Your Loving Husband.
I love you and our kitties my Wonderful Husband. 🙂
Awww poor babies. I’m glad they are feeling better. They are so adorable. Happy Monday!
They made us feel so bad, but they need their vaccines. Happy Monday and week, Yvonne. 🙂
Awesome photos of you two sweet ones, Glad you Squeaker and Lil Bit are recovered from the Vet ~ Happy Week to you, ^_^
Hugs and love to you from me and Ziggy ~

We felt so bad for them. Didn’t happen last year, but sure did this year. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
Aww, poor kitties! Glad they are feeling fine again, and they are so very cute. 🐈⬛🐈⬛
They are such loving kitties. We make sure they get lots of love. Happy week, Debbie. Hugs. 🙂
THE BABIES GOT EXTRA CUDDLES ON THE VET DAY. WAIT, THEY GET EXTRA CUDDLES EVERYDAY, RIGHT? ENJOY YOUR WEEK WITH LOVE AND A SMILE. WE CAN DO THIS!💜
Yes, they get extra cuddles everyday. As it should be. Love and hugs, Heidi. 🙂
So glad the fur kids are back to their adorable selves. Both are so awww-worthy! Happy Monday, dear Sandee.
We love them so much and we hated that they were in pain. Love and hugs to you and scritches to handsome Wilson. 🙂
Oh you poor darlings. Thank Cat they’re back to normal, Sandee🙏🏼Here come some Healing Pawkisses for the both of you and one Extra for your mommy too🐾😙💞
It was awful. For them and us. Double Pawkisses to the kitties and a hug to Granny. 🙂
Xena: Except for our every three year rabies vaccines, we just get titers done at the vet’s. If they come back positive, it means we’re protected and don’t have to get the vaccines! Wonder if Lil Bit and Squeaker’s vet knows about that…(and we only have to get the titers done every 3 years cause the vaccinations usually last at least that long.)
I didn’t know this. Very interesting. I’ll check it out. Thank you. Happy week. Scritches to pups. 🙂
I have never experienced this with our kitties; all our six girls over the decades have recovered minutes upon coming home. ~scratches head~ I wonder if your state/county/city require a more stringent schedule or extensive vaccinations. Anyway, it’s a relief to us all that they’re doing well now. 😀 Hugs, my dear.
I don’t know. Last year this didn’t happen. It was awful. For them and us. Hugs. 🙂
It breaks your heart, but you know it’s for their best and they are living longer because you care. You and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful week and give Squeaker and Lil’ Bit an extra petting from me.
We know this, but it doesn’t make it any easier. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed and beautiful week, too. Love and hugs. 🙂
Awww I’m glad the discomfort didn’t last long 🙁
We thought it lasted a very long time. They are happy now. 🙂
Oh, that’s sad but I’m glad they’re back to themselves!
We are, too. Happy day and week, Lydia. 🙂
aww poor sore kitties. They get over it pretty fast, but we just keep thinking – they have no idea really why we take them to get stuck and make them hurt. 🙁
It took a couple of days, but it seemed far longer. Happy week, my friend. 🙂
so happy they are feeling better. I never had a cat that was sore or not eating after having vaccines. They must have been rather rough!
It’s the first time for us too and we didn’t like it. Happy Tuesday, Sweetie. Scritches to the boys. 🙂
We’re sure glad Lil’ Bit and Squeaker are doing okay now. It’s very tough watching them when they are in discomfort, isn’t it?
They are doing great. It’s very tough to watch them when they are in discomfort. Happy week, my friend. 🙂
