Lil’ Bit didn’t play for months and months. She was so feral and didn’t know how to be a fun kitty until Squeaker came along. She taught Lil’ Bit how to play, how to chase each other around the house and how to be a love bug. We’re so happy she has a wonderful sister.

Squeaker is about one year younger than Lil’ Bit. Lil’ Bit had a rough first year. 🙂

Teddy had no idea what playing was when he came to live with us – he’d been a feral boy for 9 months – he “found” Angel Sammy’s toys and toy box and his curiosity got the best of him….he brought me a toy one day and I threw it for him and he brought it back. YAY! Smart guy.

Think we read (somewhere) this morning … “there was a mouse in the house … until there wasn’t”. Well, at least in this case, until Lil’ Bit found it … and did her thing, go girl!
Our kitties bring us toys in the night and we pick them up each morning and put them back in the toy box. 🙂

They are the best. We love them so.
Carbon Monoxide Detector is what you’re seeing plugged into the outlet. When we had work done on the inside of our home the inspector told us to buy one for the upstairs and the downstairs. Hugs, my friend. 🙂
thank you Sandee that is what I thought it was. Ours are in the ceiling….
downstairs is 9′ ceiling and upstairs it located about 5′ from edge of stairs
both are in very unfriendly places for a 77 year old and 81 yo to reach.

Thank you…We have Kidde CO and smoke detector combo installed on ceiling. They company who services our gas logs changes the battery in the combo for us. Our logs don’t need servicing annually but thus far he comes once a year to install new batteries.
I need to research if there is a combo plug in variety.

Our pets are so entertaining. Lucy will play with one of her toys, all by herself. She also has a game where she takes a ball and rolls it under the couch or bookcase and expects us to retrieve it. As soon as we return her toy, she takes it to another part of the room and rolls it under something else. Yes, they have us trained.
