Our babies go where they want to go and sit where they want to. We let them. In the mornings they want all kinds of love and scritches and these are their favorite places to get that love.

When I had cats, I never stopped them from going where they wanted to go. They were going to do it when I wasn’t there anyway. The counter gives them a handy spot to get their morning love and scritches.
We don’t stop them from being where they want to be. They join us for breakfast every morning. We enjoy it. Happy week, Ann. 🙂
One of mom’s favorite things about not having cats anymore is there is no one jumping on counters, dressers, etc. Everything on those places is safe now. After having one or more cats for like fifty years, it is a nice change but we totally understand letting them go where they want as you can’t train them like you can train dogs and if it doesn’t bother you, even better! They are lucky kitties.
It doesn’t bother us and we’re happy about that. Many don’t care for it at all. They are our babies and we just let them do what they want. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Yes, June, go where you wish, little one. I am only here to pay your rent, serve your meals …

Indeed, cats have a mind of their own… and we humans comply. We know this very well from our household, from our two cats.

For some reason, we almost never go on the counters. We DO go on the tables though!!!
Kitties go where they want and when you’re sleeping they will go on places you don’t know. We just agreed that no wasn’t a word to say to our kitties. 🙂
Mine is on the counters after we go to bed, she acts like mommy can’t hear her 😂

Squeaker love the crust on my sourdough bread. I share it with her. Lil’ Bit loves chicken. Outside of that they just want to be with us during breakfast. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. 🙂
