Squeaker loves to sit on dads lap. Almost every afternoon hubby sits down to read and this little one shows up to get some love. Of course the book is put away and the love begins.

Yesterday the hubby asked me to help with something and my reply was, “I can’t move. Xena’s in my lap.” Of course I got up and helped, but we both understand how joyful and peaceful it is to have one of our loved 4 leggers in our laps, too.

I can be sitting in the recliner, watching a game on television, when out of nowhere, a 20 lb. cocker spaniel lands in my lap, makes herself comfortable and dozes off for a nap. Life is good.
