    Sandee,

What a beautiful picture! I had to click the image credit link to learn where this place is. Lo and behold it’s in Babcock, West Virginia! I’ve not been there. The grist mill is a quite the photo feature. I checked out Babcock State Park’s site and there are number of pictures of the mill, very nice! Thanks for hosting the mdi-week fun, my dear. Have a wild and wonderful Wednesday!

It’s a beautiful place and I’d like to go there. I wonder if we’ll have any forest left with all the fires we have all summer long. You have a great Wordless Wednesday, Cathy. 🙂

These old mills are wonderful reminders of our heritage and a life that was much more labor intensive than we enjoy today. There is one about 30 miles from our house that is still functioning and hosts a huge craft fair every spring and fall. Have a blessed day.

  6. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!

I’d love to live near a babbling brook; moving water gives me energy, but I get so easily seasick that I need to stay on dry land.
