Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post here and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

Karpathos (Greek: Κάρπαθος, pronounced [ˈkarpaθos]), also Carpathos, is the second largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands, in the southeastern Aegean Sea. Together with the neighboring smaller Saria Island it forms the municipality of Karpathos, which is part of the Karpathos regional unit. Because of its remote location, Karpathos has preserved many peculiarities of dress, customs and dialect, the last resembling those of Crete and Cyprus. The island has also been called Carpathus in Latin and Scarpanto in Italian. Source: Wikipedia

Karpathos looks like such a beautiful place! I’m currently in Wales where it is freezing cold and constantly pouring down with rain – how nice it would be to be in Greece right now!

Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. Ahhhhh to see the world. Me? If I could I would be satisfied with just one place… any place to see the sites. It has to be old though like Rome or Hawaii or where the Alamo is. I saw Lincoln’s cabin & Mr. Foster’s place where he stayed I think it was his girlfriend’s house. Then again I love Museums too! Oh well, guess I’m not much of a traveler. I would never go on a cruise ship either. Titanic really got burned into my brain I’ll tell ya! hahaha Luv ya girl have a GREAT day. If you go anywhere please take lots of pictures for me so I can feel like I been there too! SENDING BIG HUGS & SMOOCHES!!!
