Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that the clocks will spring forward next Sunday morning. I love having the sunshine later in the evenings. I wish we could just leave the time alone.

I’m thankful that we had a wonderful cruise with another couple last weekend. It was wonderful to get back out on the water in our beloved boat.

I’m thankful for the warmth. It’s been a long and cold winter. I’m a huge fan of spring and it’s almost here.

I’m thankful that it’s almost spring but I am not thankful about the clocks springing ahead. I get up early enough on Sundays but with the time change it’ll be like getting up at 3a.m. I’ll be dragging big time

We so wish the media would start focusing on positive things. Everything, everywhere is negative. Even though we are super positive, it is hard to stay that way when the world is all about bashing on others and negativity. Enjoy your spring.

Sandee, I wish we could just leave our clocks set and leave them alone.
Our state is trying to pass a bill where we could be like Arizona. 🤗 ((Hugs))

Greetings from New River Arizona. We do have to make adjustments. Live sporting events from other places change our time to watch on TV and we have to adjust to that.

Yes, but you don’t have to spend a day changing the time on all the clocks. Hate it. 🙂

I dislike the time change and wish they would leave the clocks alone. I am thankful for the sunshine if and when it appears! We’ve had rain for 5 days and it’s time for a break from it. Happy Thursday.

That’s makes two of us, Eugenia. I hope you get some sunshine soon. We’re going to get rain on Saturday, but we need it. Happy Thursday. 🙂

  8. ChirpyDebs – Greece – Hello, I’m Debbie otherwise known as ChirpyDebs and thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. Now the children are all grown up I’m happiest when I’m out with the dogs or hiking a trail with my camera in hand. My blog is where I like to share photographs showing the wild beauty of Zakynthos that most people don’t get to see, recipes and other seemingly random things that come to mind.
    ChirpyDebs says:

Hi Sandee, your clocks change so early. I’m sure ours change the last weekend in March (best double check that or we’ll be late for a hike!)… I’m thankful to be able to walk in such beautiful surroundings, especially this time of the year. I’m also thankful that the sun shone nicely for my sons birthday barbecue yesterday.

    xx

We’re such lucky ladies! Dan does most of the dishes as he’s cooking, so that only leaves a few for me… Blessed and grateful every day. I DO do the baking. Two Apple Berry Pies today–hubby loves his desserts and I try to make them all heart healthy. 🙂

Sandee your #1 thankful for longer days during DST..is our least favorite all due to Geography.
Longer days in the south mean that much longer for the sun to heat up the earth. If we lived where there wasn’t so much humidity and unbearable long sultry days…I’d love more daylight.
    Happy Thursday Cecilia
