Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that I switched from Blogger to WordPress. Many years ago I tried WordPress and it was too complicated for me. Not anymore. It’s a wonderful platform and I’m enjoying it very much.

I’m thankful for all my blogging buddies, both new and old. You’ve been a wonderful blessing to me.

I’m thankful for all the folks that participate in my many memes. They are growing a bit each week and that makes me happy.

What are you thankful for today?

  6. At first WordPress seemed a little intimidating, but after a few posts I became more comfortable with it. I’m still using the free version and it seems to meet my needs for now. Thanks for t he suggestion to switch from blogger. I guess I am among the older blogging buddies, both in age and length of association. We’ve been doing this for over 11 years now.

  11. I’m thankful for upbeat friends like you. And I’m glad I learned how to stop seeing posts from Trump Derangement Syndrome people on Facebook. It’s been three years and she is still hysterical.

I never used blogger. Besides, it’s part of that evil Google.

  13. I switched from Blogger after five years. This is “harder” but better I think. I am thankful I still have hope in my life.

Now the children are all grown up I’m happiest when I’m out with the dogs or hiking a trail with my camera in hand. My blog is where I like to share photographs showing the wild beauty of Zakynthos that most people don’t get to see, recipes and other seemingly random things that come to mind.

Hi Sandee, I lasted about two weeks on Blogger when I first started blogging, I found it far more difficult and confusing than WordPress (funny how the mind works)… I am thankful I recently found the strength to turn my back on a negative person who was dragging me down. It took a lot, but I feel like a weight has been lifted. I am thankful to feel like ‘me’ again!

    xx

    • WordPress is the best thing I’ve ever done in terms of blogging. It’s good to let go of toxic people. Good for you. We just did the same thing. 🙂

Thankful for family, friends and the beauty of this summer day…. <3

    • Happy Thankful Thursday to you too. It’s good when the humidity goes away for a bit. 🙂

  16. It’s fun to post, isn’t it. Although i have the free version of WordPress, it crashes at least half a dozen times a day, so everything has to be written on Blogger and copied over to WordPress.
