Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful that I’m going to cut back on blogging. I’ve been blogging five days a week for years. It’s time to step back and do other things. Beginning next week I’ll be blogging three days a week. Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday and Wordless Wednesday. The rest of the week I’ll be hit and miss with comments. I intend to do my thankful things on Brian’s blog, Friendly Fill-ins on Ellen’s blog and an occasional Mondays Music Moves Me.

I’m thankful for all the wonderful folks I’ve met participating in Thankful Thursdays. I will continue to visit and comment on your posts.

I’m thankful that I will have more time for boating once the weather warms up. It will take a lot of pressure off me by not having memes to attend to while out on the water.

What are you thankful for today?

this is a good idea and I think there are many of us that feel the same. we will be here when you are here, I have been considereing changes also but can’t decide what I want to do. I have been posting every day for years, and the past 4 years on both blogs. I am considering one blog, or 2 or 3 days on both, other things are playing in my head. there are many who are posting less and less. enjoy your REAL life and fish as much as you can

It does indeed, Miss Molly and I try very hard to visit those that link up to my hops. It’s important to me. 🙂

We will miss you, but we totally understand. Emma started the blog with random days and eventually she blogged 7 days a week for a couple years. We cut back to five, but sometimes that is a lot too. Enjoy more time for yourself and thank you for hosting, it is not an easy job and we appreciate you for doing it.

I’ve enjoyed it very much, but this year it’s been weighing on my mind to step back some. It’s time. I’ll still be visiting all my buddies. 🙂

there you go! I’m sooo proud of you!!! At least you are committing to 3 days per week (which is something I didn’t commit to). For years and years I blogged a minimum of 3 days per week (most weeks more)…once the boys passed (actually even before they passed), blogging had lost it’s luster for me. Now I have NO SCHEDULE. ZIP. NADA. I blog when the mood hits and I am quite happy with this arrangement! It’s quite liberating!! HAPPY NEW YEAR! xoxo

That’s the ticket. Blog when you want to. I don’t think I would ever blog again if I did what you did. It’s all good. Happy New Year. A hug to you and scritches to the boys. 🙂

Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

I agree that blogging takes up so much time. When Flynn died I went to only blogging once a week and said I would only comment on that day, but nearly 6 years later I am still commenting on as many blogs as possible every day. I must try to cut back my commenting. I even forgot it was WW yesterday! If you don’t post again beforehand, have a wonderful New Year and right through 2023.
