Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Last Thursday I had a dentist appointment and this is what I saw when I arrived. It’s cold, but the blossoms of spring are here. It made my heart happy.

Tomorrow we’re heading to the boat for the weekend. The highs are going to be in the upper 60s all weekend. It’s time to enjoy our boat again.

What are you thankful for today?

I’m thankful that I keep finding ways to teach children things they need to know in order to be proficient. Our district is 50% proficient in the core subject I teach, and that is at an A school. I don’t find that to be a very comforting fact. I am reveling in being able to make a small difference for these kids this year. It feels really, really good.
