Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I had the honor of being in charge of the links for the Dr. Seuss Day celebration this past Tuesday. I gladly accepted this task and set about to make everything perfect. I didn’t come close. The comments were closed and the link to my Dr. Seuss Day post was all messed up. I was in tears trying to unravel what a mess I made. I finally succeeded. I have no idea how I made such a mess of it, but at least the links were out there for folks to link-up.

You’re wondering why I’m including this in a Thankful Thursday post? I’m thankful that I got up early and set about fixing things as quickly as I could. I’m also thankful for the kindness shown even though I dropped the ball. You all ROCK!

What are you thankful for today?

I do dumb stuff often and it’s okay if it’s not a huge hop with multiple people involved. Not the time to mess up. 🙂

Blogging seems so easy to most, but when you blog and you are not really tech savvy, it can bring one to tears. When links break, people can’t comment all of the sudden, or your pages don’t show up correctly, it really is hard. Thank you so much for taking on the hosting task! We didn’t notice any issues but even if we had, stuff happens. Blogging should be fun and if someone gets too uptight, that is sad. Thank you to you for being you and doing the best only you can do 🙂

I’m thankful for your Dr. Seuss post! <3 I visited a few of the participating blogs and appreciate so many bloggers honoring The Good Doctor in a year when Reading Across America has gotten little positive attention. Hip, Hip Hooray for Dr. Seuss and all his fans!

I think we are always surprised at the grace shown us by others when we “mess up.” We are usually harder on ourselves than we are on others, or than others are on us. If it’s any help, I didn’t even notice! Thanks for being willing to do all that you do.

You could have fooledc me that anything went wrong. You always do a top notch job, Sandee. I suspect foul play by gremlins. 😄

I didn’t that morning, but straightened it out finally. It could have been foul play. I hadn’t thought about that. 🙂
