Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful that I had my cataract surgery yesterday and all went well. My first surgery for my right eye was over ten years ago and the doctor told me that within a year I’d need my left eye done. My vision is so wonderful right now. I’m seeing better than I have in a very long time.

I’m thankful that hubby will be chauffeuring me wherever I need to go until I’m cleared to drive. I told him I’d do the same for him when it was his turn to have cataract surgery. Life is sweet.

What are you thankful for today?

I’m so thankful Sandee that your eye operation went well and that you’ll have a fast recovery. I’m thankful that I had 90 years with my Aunt Mary. She passed away and we did have a great time with her. She was my mother’s sister and we only have my Uncle Danny left of our family but we have many memories of them.

I know just what you’re feeling because I had both of my eyes done 2 weeks apart and it was like a new life and then in 2017 Bob had both of his done so we’ve been through it and we know what it’s like and how much more wonderful it is to be able to see clearly. Glad you’re doing well
