Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

    Sweet kitty!
We live on a farm so only have one close neighbour. The village is about a mile walk away so we don’t get any trick or treaters here. I think I would hide too if we did!

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

That’s a good thing. Hiding is a good thing. We usually go to the boat, but that’s not going to work this year. 🙂

I’m not living and sleeping in a haunted house. Happy weekend, Steve. 🙂

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

Same here, Ann. I’m just to tired to do that anymore. I do love to see the costumes the kids wear though. 🙂

  4. Rosey says:

I am scared to drive on/through mountains. I do it when I have to, but I never WANT to, you are a much braver soul than I. 🙂 Sorry to hear about your last answer, though I know you are happy now, so hurrah for happy endings!! Here’s mine:

I might get to watch a full basketball game this weekend (the games keep getting rained out, since the kids have to play outside now).
I want to see my kiddo play in a full game before fall is over (LOL! I do!).
If my house were haunted, oh yeah, I’d move too.
A moment of financial destitution after a surprise divorce is the scariest thing that ever happened to me. That was not fun.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

I don’t know much about your divorce, but I was surprised when it happened. You seemed so happy. Well you were, but your hubby wasn’t. We’re both better off now. 🙂

      • Rosey says:

I was so happy. I thought we were forever. He had a girlfriend. His boss at work. I didn’t know. It still baffles me if I think about it. But he’s married to her now, and they have a new life. And we have ours, and I couldn’t have changed it no matter what, and now I wouldn’t want to. So that’s that, I guess… life is full of surprises, good and bad. I think it sounds corny, but it’s true, that the bad things make us appreciate the good things that much more. I don’t regret being married, I was happy and loved our life. If I never have to see him again though, I’m okay (better than okay) with that too.

    My GBGV Life says:

The last couple years, we turn off the lights and hide on Halloween too. It is a pain in the furs with the constant stream of kids ringing the bell wanting candy. This year we are in competitions all weekend, so we will need to be in bed early on Halloween. Hopefully no one will cause a loud ruckus. Happy weekend!

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

I hear you and all that barking. When we did do this hubby would sit out with the neighbor and hand out candy in the driveway. Little Bit and I liked that. 🙂

  6. 15andmeowing – Ware, MA – Blogger at 15andmeowing
    15andmeowing says:

Cute kitty. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins. Sorry about the ex, but glad you found true love after that. We don’t have to hide for trick or treat as no one ever comes out in the country, they like places where houses are closer together. Have a nice weekend. XO

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

The bad was overshadowed by my life now. It’s all good. We’ll probably get kids, but we’ll go dark and hopefully they will pass on by. 🙂

  7. Sandra Hangey says:

I might make it to my goal weight by the end of the year. I want to make it to my goal weight by the end of the year. If my home were haunted I would not believe it because I don’t believe in haunted houses. And the fourth one is the exact same as yours my life with my ex-husband was the scariest thing that ever happened to me in my life. Looking down the barrel of a gun does not a good thing

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

I’ve done that too. It’s scary. Not to mention all the times I was beat up by him. So many trips to the emergency room. 🙂

We used to have hundreds and hundreds of kids come here on Halloween. We spent a fortune on candy and had such a great time with the kids, but I’m just to old for that anymore. 🙂

    Miss Fitz says:

That is such a sweet little one and being a Tabby is such a plus! Why? Well I am one and that counts oodles. Dad says it has been long enough that he does not think of his ex, too often that is. It was a terrible time and he thinks that if he was not with her maybe his accident would not have happened as he was “Gittin outta town” for a week or so. Ah well. Spilt Milk and all. Thanks for the great Hop!
    Miss Fitz

Did I get this right; you remarried your former spouse? Interesting!
I’ve been in houses that had ghosts, back in my real estate days. Oh, yes, and my grandfather showed up at my childhood home often, after he passed away. I’ve been on the tour of haunted warehouse (Savannah, GA) and haunted basement (Minneapolis, MN), but didn’t feel anything like what I did while in those houses that I visited as a real estate agent!

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

No, I didn’t do that. The x was scary. The one I have now is the one I should have waited for. I believe there are houses that are haunted. 🙂

  12. darlamsands
    darlamsands says:

What a sweet face. I like the black and white image, too.

We used to enjoy handing out candy. I even set up a haunted garage way back in 1999. It’s been years since we’ve had any kids come around. As in the past few years, I may put out a bowl just in case.

Your fourth fill-in makes me sad. I’m so glad you’re doing so well now. ~hugs~ Hope you get to take that drive, too.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.

    4. Once at a county fair my youngest son disappeared and we had to get help to find him and that was the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me. He just decided to go look at something and “poof” I could not find him in all the crowds. The local police had already found him and he was in the llost and found booth! Whew.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.

Out of curiosity, do you believe in ghosts and haunted houses? If a house were cheap because it was supposedly haunted I’d still move there because I can’t say no to a discount. I might regret it afterwards though 😂
Hiding is a good idea during Halloween. Keep the sweets for yourself 😉

Happy Friday, Sandee – hope you and hubby have a relaxing weekend! xx

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

  15. -Eugenia says:

We don’t get trick or treaters where I live and we usually travel during Halloween – maybe next year – sigh. I want brisk weather before fall is over. If my house were haunted, I would move. The scariest that ever happened to me in 1980 I was lost at sea for 3 days off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale. We (6 of us) were rescued by the U.S.S. Oliver Hazard Perry, a newly commissioned Frigate from Bath, Maine. We were found in the Gulf stream off New Smyrna Beach. True story!
