    • Help yourself, Ann. I’ll join you. We would have a great time talking and eating watermelon. 🙂

    • It’s finally cooled down here a bit. We’re very happy about that. Triple digit weather is tough to take. 🙂

  1. Fresh fruit and grilling are the best part of summer!

    • I’m always hungry when I visit your blog each morning, Nancy. I’m glad I can make you hungry. 🙂

    • I need to get one the next time we shop. I love cantaloupe and watermelon. 🙂

    • Anytime you want, my friend. You’re always welcome. 🙂

    • Watermelon is a good way to hydrate too. I love all the food here too. 🙂

Watermelon seeds aren’t as good as sunflower seeds.

  6. Oh that looks so refreshing! Our son Jeremy just brought us a $30 box of fresh goodies. Watermelon, corn, green beans, plums and a ton of other stuff. We are going to try to buy from the farmers market. It is cool, you pay cash (lol) and they bring it to your car. Easy Easy! I prefer to support local businesses anyway so it all works out great. We had three huge artichokes in our box, LORD they were magnificent! Always my pleasure to see you here. Thank you for all you do, I sincerely mean it! HUGS xo

    • Summer brings so many wonderful fruits and veggies. I just love summer. Thank you for being such a loyal participant, Anne. It’s most appreciated. Big hugs. 🙂

  7. That looks like a fabulous summer feast. Mom says she could make a meal out of all the salad, corn on the cob, and watermelon!!!

    • Me too and that’s what I love to eat when it’s hot. Scritches to the pups. 🙂

Summertime, summertime… Loving summertime and thankful for it! Have a beautiful week, Sandee! 🙂 xo

    • Yes and these are just a few things that make summertime so special. 🙂

    • We’ve had a wonderful day, Ellen. I hope you’ve had a nice day too. 🙂

  9. Sandee, I’m so thankful for my wife. Since we have been running around looking for materials for this new home, she has shown me strength and fortitude , It’s funny that many of the men we have been dealing with aren’t sure how to deal with her. She says what she says to them straight forward. I love watching this woman dealing with the more larger men. I really don’t even have to say anything. LOL

    • It’s a good thing. I want what I want too and as long as you agree all is well. Have a great day. 🙂

It is good. Mix sour cream, ketchup, crumbled blue cheese & dill pickle for the sauce. 🤗((Hugs))

    • I feel the same, Little Binky. Pawkisses to you for a great day and weekend. My best to your granny. 🙂

  11. We have so much to be thankful for. Every time I go to the grovery, I am amazed at the fruits and veggies there.

    • Yes indeed. We were just there the other day. I love the fruit and veggie area the very best in the summer time. 🙂
