What better way to start the week than with a smile.

Lil’ Bit loves to hide under our covers. Dad turned down our bed and Lil’ Bit got comfortable. She’s such a wonderful family member.

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

Zone Rouge

Covering more than 1,200km2 (463 square miles) in northeastern France, ‘Zone Rouge’ has been closed off since the First World War. These former battlefields are littered with unexploded ammunition, and the soils have been polluted by mercury and arsenic leaching from discarded weaponry. In the worst-affected areas, the soil contains up to 300 shells per hectare. The site’s dedicated clean-up team estimates that it’ll take at least 300 years to clear completely.
