    • Having a day off and doing nothing isn’t a bad thing at all. I’m sure Gibbs was happy to have you home all day. 🙂

    • I know it’s true. It’s the way of things I suppose. Oh well, we do love the chips. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂

  1. Right now that job thing really suits Mom. She has her own business, but she is really burned out and wishes she could take a vacation so she could love her job again.

    • You can burn yourself out indeed. I so remember. Getting to your days off and sleeping for most of it. 🙂

  2. I’m totally agree with the air cost. When you grab a bag of chips is so large but when you open it up whoosh, it’s mostly air. I want a full bag of chips, not chip air. I want a lawyer. LOL. Have a great day Sandee.

Don’t you love your job on payday?

    • Yes indeed. We all do. I don’t have to work for my retirement check anymore. I’m happy about that. 🙂

    • Yes it is. I’m always amazed by how big it looks before you open it and how empty it is after. 🙂

    • This is the first year we’re not stressed. We took out all the stress on purpose. We’re old so it works for us. You have a family you’re raising you can’t avoid the busy or the stress. 🙂

  4. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!

These are great Sandee! The third one made me think of Lays because there bags are really full of air! LOL! 😀 Happy Tuesday!

    • I know, and I’ve been doing nothing for so long I’m liking it to much to change. 🙂

  5. Tuesday already (!) and the days for me blend together like a batter in a mixing bowl. . .

  6. Jeanna – Madison, WI – I'm a freelance feature writer, ex caterer and relay operator interested in helping seniors like myself and their family and caregivers with local and national resources while providing a safe place to share experiences or just chat. Taking care of my parents has taught me a lot about caregiving, assisted living facilities and health care for seniors. I'm going to keep adding resource information with the goal of providing information in an entertaining and informative way.

Even if you’re doing nothing you’re still doing something. Hope you’ve been well during the holiday season (well always, but especially now).

    • That is true, but as long as I don’t have to do to much when I’m doing nothing. 🙂
