Happy Tuesday

Post a funny picture. Post a not so funny picture.

Post whatever weirdness you want. That’s it.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Happy Tuesday post.

Being happy is a good thing.

These are actual comments made by Georgia State Troopers that were taken off their car videos:

  • “Yes, sir, you can talk to the shift supervisor, but I don’t think it will help. Oh, did I mention that I’m the shift supervisor?”
  • “The answer to this last question will determine whether you are drunk or not. Was Mickey Mouse a cat or a dog?”
  • “Yeah, we have a quota. Two more tickets and my wife gets a toaster oven.”
  • “Just how big were those ‘two beers’ you say you had?”
  • “I’m glad to hear that the Chief (of Police) is a personal friend of yours. So you know someone who can post your bail.”
  • “You didn’t think we gave pretty women tickets? You’re right, we don’t. Sign here.”

Thanks Jeanne of Purrseidon

Yes indeed. Car stops are humorous sometimes. They are all recorded too. You’d be surprised what’s offered to get out of a ticket. 🙂

Great quotes from police officers. I once was stopped for going over the speed limit while heading to work (I had on my work uniform). I was dropping my teenage son and his 2 friends at the mall on the way. The cop asked me about i and, felt so sorry for me that I was dealing with 3 teenagers (who I loved to be around, but didn’t mention that) that he let me off with a warning.

I bet you asked some of those questions when you were an officer too or at least felt like it. 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO

Hahaha! Hilarious. When I worked at the DA’s office, we had an informal list similar to these. People who break the law aren’t the sharpest guys in the world, are they?

I will admit that when at work in the presence of a disgruntled sort that after denigrating me in anger over some alleged or assumed offense, demands to speak to the duty manager; it gives me a tad too much pleasure to respond with “you are.”
