Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1. You don’t have to convince me to ______________.
2. _____________is causing me stress.
3. Speaking from experience, _________.
4. Over time, my opinion of _________ has changed.

Here are my answers:
1. You don’t have to convince me to be kind.
2. All the political hatred is causing me stress.
3. Speaking from experience, peace and happiness can only be found inside you. Or not, it’s your choice.
4. Over time, my opinion of politicians, the mainstream media and celebrities has changed. There aren’t many I like and even less I respect.

  2. My GBGV Life – Minnesota, USA – I am a GBGV, Grand Basset Griffon Vendeén - enjoying my life and sharing my experiences.
    My GBGV Life says:

Mom feels the same way about politicians and the media. Everyone is looking for the negative, following popular opinion like sheep. There is no independent thinking or standing up for things these days. Very sad.

  3. Memories of Eric and Flynn – I started this blog to show my holiday photos but haven't added to it for so long, but you can see my other holiday photos at https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com My main blog is my cat blog at https://twodevoncats.blogspot.com

    Such lovely long whiskers!
I agree, there is so much hate and negativity in the world. I went on FB the other day for the first time in ages to wish a friend happy birthday. I looked at some other posts while I was there and saw the trolls are still just as bad. I won’t be back there again for some time.

I get that same look from Lucy when it’s time for her bedtime snacks.

You don’t have to convince me to trust in the Lord. It comes easier every day.
Health issues that come with growing older is causing me stress.
Speaking from experience,God is still in the healing business.
Over time, my opinion of politics has changed. Politicians have two goals. Goal #1…get elected. Goal #2…get re-elected. They will promise anything to achieve goals 1 &2, then spend the next four years blaming the other side for not being able to deliver on their promises. Can you tell…I don’t trust politicians.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

Yes on the health issues and we can’t escape them. You’re right about politicians. They will promise you everything and deliver very little or nothing at all. 🙂

      Sandee says:

Yes indeed. I thought this little one was every so cute. Happy weekend. Hugs. 🙂

  5. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.
    foguth says:

Meowser Ms. Sandee – great answers! We’re not fond of politicians (liars of any type) either… it has been shocking to see how many ‘bad uns’ there are…. SO the question becomes how we can throw all those ‘rotten apples’ in the brig….
Thank you for hosting this blog hop – have a great day, Purrseidon, whose whiskers tingle more and more with anticipation of a turn for the better.

    Kathe W. says:

Awwww such sweetness in that kittys face! Great answers and I bet you are so happy to be setting out on the water! Have fun! Here are my answers!
    1. You don’t have to convince me to be nice to others- it doesn’t cost anything and it makes me happy!
    2. All this negativity in our country is causing me stress.
    3. Speaking from experience, we are all responsible for ourselves- no one else can make you happy etc- it does have to come from inside. As my mother taught me smiling is a lot easier than frowning! Uses less muscles and feel better!
    4. Over time, my opinion of politicians has changed. Today they all pretty much are just interested in power and money in their pockets! And the hell with us.

Such a beautiful kitty! I know what you mean about all the hate going on…it is exhausting and overwhelming some days. Like how you point out choices. Too many people play the victim card too frequently relishing in their ignorance.

  18. Anne M Robinson says:

Cute kitty! Aw….mine is a dickens! Enjoy your boating this weekend. It is a good way to get away from the craziness we are living with. . You’re answers are so right on! I Had similar ones and changed them to calm myself down but I agree with you one hundred percent. Nothing makes sense these days. Except higher taxes, higher unemployment, higher prices at the grocery store and the gas pump. So many people are terribly clueless. If they think that power grid failure in Texas was some kind of fluke they are living in a dreamworld. It is happening so quickly….it is hard to believe.
As my friend Joyce says, if you read the bible and it’s prophecies you would understand what it is going on.
Go sail away and have a fun weekend. we are going to get more snow. HaHaHa
