  1. Aww! that kitty looks very comfy …and half awake LOL 😉

I liked your replies as always but 4 was my fave and made me laugh LOL 🙂

Have an idiotfree FFS and safetastic weekend 😷😷😷

    • That’s what I loved about this shot. Half awake or half asleep. Yes #4 is known by all. Happy weekend, Steve. 🙂

  2. So sorry you can’t go boating with this wonderful weather (not here though 😉 Sandee. We hope things will change soon for everyone🙏Here’s a winky for the little sweetie pie on top of your bloggie. Extra hopeful Pawkisses for a wonderful Weekend🐾😽💞

    • Oh well. We refuse to let this get us down. We’ll find other things to do and it’s a good thing. You have a wonderful weekend too, Little Binky. My best to your wonderful granny. 🙂

  3. Memories of Eric and Flynn – I started this blog to show my holiday photos but haven't added to it for so long, but you can see my other holiday photos at https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com My main blog is my cat blog at https://twodevoncats.blogspot.com

    That is a lovely kitty.
When we were first married we had a mobile home on the farm so storage space was restricted. I soon got into the habit of keeping everything tidy and clutter free, and it continued when we built our bungalow. The garage/ workshop is hubby’s domain and that is a totally different story! It is no wonder he can never find anything out there.
    I agree with #4.

    • A lesson well learned. I’m glad you carried that wonderful trait with you to your new home. Hubby is pretty neat in the garage, but that’ s his place and I don’t mess with anything out there. 🙂

  4. Sweet cat.
I need to do some de-cluttering around here. I’ve started several times but I only get so far and then I burn out.
They have moved things back here and some of the things they are doing just do not make any sense.
I’m not so good at dealing with idiots either and I seem to be surrounded by them

    • It’s easy to toss the stuff you don’t need, but bagging it up and disposing of it is tedious. The garbage only comes once a week and I can fill the large can up in no time. 🙂

  5. We too are so over the pandemic thing and how it is creating such a mess. Life is not much fun anymore.

    • It’s creating an economic mess for sure. Then there’s all the isolation for many. It’s a shame. 🙂

    • We’re enjoying the de-cluttering. We’ve not done it in many years. Shame on us. We know we should do this far more often. 🙂

    • I think most of us are so over this. We been lied to so many times I’ve lost count. 🙂

  6. The kitty reminds me of a child who is trying oh so hard to stay awake. Cute.

It is hard to avoid people who are just ignorant and rude. My #1 Son bought himself a book, the Marx-Engels Reader, so he can highlight parts of it and when he is talking to young people who don’t even know what they mean when they say they are Marxist, he can show it to them in black and white (and highlighter yellow). He wants to educate as many in his generation as he can to what they are really talking about, they just don’t even know.

    • No they don’t know. It’s a shame that history is being erased. Bravo to your son. Have a great weekend, my friend. 🙂

  7. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.

Fab fill-ins, and yes this restrictiveness stopping us doing our normal everyday things is getting on our pip now 🙁 happy Friday guys! XOX

    • We’re going to the boat next weekend and just slip sail. It’s all we can do. Happy Friday and weekend. 🙂

  8. I’m with you and I’m finding it hard to deal with idiots and it seems that most of the politicians these days are idiots. I am so over our world being upside down and not knowing if there will ever be an end to the way we’re living now. And effect I’m over the don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel that I’m living in right now. At this moment I’m obsessed with learning how to create in photoscape x so I’ve been playing with that and I’m very very skilled in Reading

    • Yes on the idiots and the idiot politicians too. you’re right about that. Have a great weekend, Sandra. Scritches to Big Boy. 🙂

  9. I love the look on the kitty’s face. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and thanks for participating in the fill-ins. I always enjoy your answers. i am sorry your state got closed down again and ruins boating for you. Kuddos on the decluttering! I wish I could get my hubby on board with that. Have a nice weekend! XO

    • Thanks for participating and for co-hosting the fill-ins. I look forward to them each week. You have a nice weekend too. 🙂

  10. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Meowsr Ms. Sandee thank you for hosting this blog hop! I’m so sorry to hear that your nasty governor has shut things down again. Dare i hope he’s on the ballot this year and you can vote for someone else? Other than that, purrhaps you can impeach him… Way over here, in FL, we’ve heard about all those millions he basically threw away on masks to some brand new company in China, so I”m wagering there are legal grounds to fire him.
    Purrseidon

    • A republican has a tough time winning anything in California. They have it stacked in their favor. This used to be such a great state. Not anymore. 🙂

  11. Precious purring face kitty. I 100% agree about idiots and their selfishness and me me attitude.
I heard parts of CA were closed up again. I’m sorry to read that is your area. Patio dining in NC in JULY is
like going to a sauna fully clothed.
    Hugs Cecilia

    • It’s hot here, but a dryer heat. You still sweat, but not like being in Hawaii. I remember the humidity there. Hugs back. 🙂

    • It does and I thought the one eye open and the other one closed was most cute. 🙂

  12. If left to my own devices, I’d have baskets all over Eastside Cats, ’cause a kitty in a basket is just too, too…adorable!
The Hubby doesn’t like baskets…wha?!? However, I am undaunted; think I’ll pick up something, then claim that I’d won it in a raffle! wink
I am curious as to what you are reading, and are you on Goodreads? If you are, we could swap our reading lists.

    • I’m on goodreads but rarely visit. It’s just to much work I think This is the second time I tried it and I just can’t get into it. 🙂

Precious Friday fur baby… I want to hug and kiss the little darling! 🙂 This pandemic is no fun at all. Hang in there and enjoy a relaxing weekend, Sandee.

    • We are doing what we’re supposed to do. We’re okay here. That’s a good thing. Happy weekend, Bette. 🙂

  14. My latest obsession is counting calories.
I am so over politicians and the news channels..
    I’m skilled at baking.
I’m not very good at folding a fitted sheet

    …and cute kitty kat!

    • Love all your answers. Especially #2. I’ve never been able to fold a fitted sheet. Gave up years ago. I do hear it’s easy if you know how. 🙂

  15. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!
    Deborah

That is so sweet Sandee! I love your answer to #4, it gave me such a tickle! I am with you on that answer! Have a fun Friday and weekend! Hugs! 🙂 <3

    • I think most of us can relate to that one. It’s become an epidemic. Hugs and happy weekend, Deborah. 🙂

  16. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.
    Tails Around the Ranch

No. 4 can be a full time job anymore. 😉 Here’s hoping you have a wonderful weekend.

A full time job some days. 😕

    • I know and it’s hard to keep up with the opening and closing going on. 🙂

  17. That’s a cute sleepy kitty! I am a stickler for de-cluttering. My hubby tries but he has a hard time parting with things. We live in an apartment with a detached garage. The garage helps with my hubby’s tools, etc. Georgia is mostly staying open. Happy Friday!

    • I was so tried last night I could barely keep my eyes open. Then went right to sleep and got up to early this morning. 🙂

  18. I’m getting sleepy just looking at that feline. Pets make napping look sooooo easy don’t they?
Love your answers. I am sure you dearly miss your favorite activity and all of the fellowship that goes with boating. I’m becoming much less of a people person since COVID-19, not that I was ever the life of the party.

My latest obsession is following a couple of YouTube channels of families from my home state of Oklahoma.
I am so over COVID-19 & stupid politicians. I virtually refuse to watch the national news.
I’m skilled at photography. Well at least I know which end of the lens to point at the subject.
I’m not very good at dealing with the heat. We are now having 95+ degree days on a regular basis and a heat index in triple digits. Come on Autumn!!!

    • Thanks for playing along and we’ve not watched the national propaganda for a very long time. We don’t have news, we have opinions and feelings. 🙂

    • It can be both of those things. We are about half way done in the kitchen. What a difference it has made. Scritches to the pups. 🙂

  19. Oh, de cluttering sounds nice! That makes me so happy to do.

I was out of town this week, but couldn’t miss at least a quick stop-in to say hi!

There is so much I miss. I miss just even being normal around people!

    • I saw your adventure on Facebook. I’m glad you had a great time. Hopefully we can be normal around people and soon. 🙂

    • I do too. We opened and then we closed again, but I do live in California. 🙂

    • We’re having a wonderful weekend just like this kitty is. We are doing fine here. We roll with the punches. 🙂

    • They can do this too and it’s ever so cute. I have hubbies cooperation. I’m happy about that and I know what you mean. 🙂

  20. Kittens are just so adorable. BEAUTIFUL and fun.
    Here are this weeks questions:
    1. My latest obsession is board painting.
    2. I am so over this virus..
    3. I’m skilled at a few things..
    4. I’m not very good at singing

    Here are my answers:

    • Thanks for playing along and I can’t sing at all. I’m so over this virus too. Hope we can get back to normal soon. 🙂

  21. Oh no, I’m sorry you are shut down again! I’m pretty sure those idiots you mentioned in #4 are mostly responsible for that.
Luke sends smooches to hopefully cheer you up a bit!

    • You’re right about the idiots. We have more than we need here. Smooches to Luke. 🙂

  22. Aww, this cute kitty looks so cozy! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I completely agree with #4. Sometimes it’s so hard to hold my tongue. Have a wonderful week!

    • Sometimes I don’t hold my tongue. Gets me into trouble too. You have a wonderful week too. 🙂
