  1. Memories of Eric and Flynn – I started this blog to show my holiday photos but haven't added to it for so long, but you can see my other holiday photos at https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com My main blog is my cat blog at https://twodevoncats.blogspot.com
    Memories of Eric and Flynn

Beautiful eyes. She looks very much like Poppy Q.
I agree wholeheartedly with your fill ins.
As you know, we cruise usually 3 times a year on the ocean liners, and have seen many places. I long to be back at sea but sadly we have decided that with my suppressed immune system it is too much of a risk to cruise again.
Never say never though. They may develop an effective inoculation for the virus.

    • The big ships always makes me sick. We don’t go anymore either. Oh well. 🙂

  2. What a beauty and those lovely eyes

I liked your fill-ins I dislike politicians too one word for ours here at the moment …vile 😉

Have a masklesstastic (soon) safe FFS 😷😷😷

    • We have some vile here too. In the media, Hollywood and politicians. Have a great weekend, Steve. 🙂

    • I hadn’t thought of that. He did a good job then. Pawkisses back, Little Binky. 🙂

  3. Michelle – Hi, I am Michelle, I am married to a wonderful Christian man & my best friend ever, in the world. We live in the Peachy state of GA. I hope to inspire and encourage you through my blog posts.
    Michelle

Good morning, Sandee! This cat looks like our Grey Boy 🤗((Hugs))

  4. That cat reminds me of my daughters.
I can’t wait to be able to go places without having to have a mask on.
These days I don’t know which is worse, the politician, the athletes or the celebraties.

    • I really don’t get enough oxygen while wearing my mask. I can’t imagine working with one on all day. 🙂

    • Now you know why we don’t have television anymore. Not going to listen to these people. 🙂

  5. We like our sports teams, but are not big sports fans. Mom only will wear a mask if it is required. She isn’t into this whole virus thing and really is looking forward to when it quits ruining everyone’s lives. Now is not a nice time in the world for many reasons.

    • I’m with you on the virus. There’s always one virus or another. Always has been and always will be. 🙂

  6. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!
    Deborah

That’s a beautiful one Sandee! Have a safe and happy Friday and weekend! Hugs! 🙂

  7. If I were feeling in those blanks I would fill them in exactly like you did they all fit me exactly! Right now I’m thinking the mask is the bane of my existence since it is the focus of my hatred but I do wear it everywhere I go in public but I don’t like it

    • You and I seem to be on the same page. Happy weekend and scritches to Big Boy. 🙂

    • Thank you, Brian and thank you for being such a loyal participant in all my memes. 🙂

  8. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Meowser Ms. Sandee…. it would be healthier if you left the mask behind now – those things are actually doing more harm than good. Washing your paws and keeping them away from your face is MUCH more effective. I don’t like all the hatred, either. The most annoying thing – to me – is that so much of the hatred is based on lies and/or twisted truth, which is just another form of lies.
Hope you can go cruising soon!
    Purrseidon

    • I know you’re right. Your approach is far wiser. We’re planning a cruise beginning next Thursday. We’re ready. 🙂

  9. It will be nice when things can get back to normal, but that may not be for quite a while it seems.

  10. Such a beautiful kitty. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and thank you for participating in the fill-ins I always enjoy your answers- I am with you on 2 and 4. And yes, the masks do make it hard to breathe especially in hot weather. Have a great weekend! XO

    • Thanks for co-hosting the fun, Ellen. I always look forward to the fill-ins each week. Happy weekend. 🙂

  11. Gorgeous coloring on this kitty!
There is a huge disconnect in our society, and watching the talking heads on TV doesn’t help one bit.

    • I quit listening to the talking heads months ago. Propaganda is all they spew. 🙂

  12. Now that is a Feline Supermodel…purrfect hair and not a bit of eyemakeup needed.
    Happy Friday
    Hugs Cecilia
PS we have just about quit watching news…try to time our viewing just for weather reports

    • A supermodel indeed. Yes on the news. We quit watching long ago. Have a fabulous weekend, Cecilia. Big hugs. 🙂

  13. What eyes. Heh Heh for 2 and 4 fill-ins. TW says stupid, self-centered people who refuse to wear masks in the bane of her existence and the reason she’ll be wearing one forever. The pandemic isn’t going to end anytime soon.

  14. kittiesblue – Roanoke, VA – Tandem bike rider with the best husband ever (married 47 years), gardener, blogger and kitty addict and caregiver. My license plate is PRRFCT and I have a tattoo of my blog logo on my calf.
    kittiesblue

I am like you, Sandee. I cannot wait to jetison the mask. I especially hate it at physical therapy. Very difficult to do a good job when breathing in my own carbon dioxide. Thanks for the link-up. Have a great weekend. Purrs from Sawyer and Cooper Murphy and big hugs from me, Janet

    • I agree about the masks making it hard to breath. I have some real issues with it and have gone into panic mode more than once. You have a great weekend too. Scritches to all the kitties. 🙂

    • One never really knows what a cat is thinking, but when they want something you had better deliver. God bless you too, Victor. 🙂

  15. When the pandemic is over I plan to travel. Stupid people are the name of my existence. I prefer animals. 🐈🐈🐈

    • Yes I should have added stupid people. Oh wait, I did that with the media, Hollywood and politicians. Happy weekend, Greg. 🙂

  16. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.
    Tails Around the Ranch

Wow, such pretty amber eyes on that kitty.

        Tails Around the Ranch

Yes, that is one very handsome cat!

  17. That is a gorgeous kitty! When out and around, I will be wearing a mask for a long time. If the pandemic is completely over and done, then I don’t feel the need to wear a mask except for flu season. Negativity from the media, politicians, sports icons, religious leaders and Hollywood are the bane of my existence. Happy Friday!

    • Yes, we do what we can, but I’ll be glad when all this hysteria is over. Or will we just move on to the next thing? I hope not. Happy Friday and weekend. 🙂

    • I think most of us are on our last never with these three groups. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. 🙂

  18. The eyes on that cat are amazing! I totally agree with you on #1 and 4! I can hardly stand to watch the news anymore. I do not like the way Hollywood people and sports figures are so glorified. And don’t even get me started on politics! 🙂

    • I hear you. A bunch of idiots that have trouble dealing with their own issues but want to tell us how to think and live. I don’t think so. 🙂

The eyes have it! 🙂 How happy we’ll be when this pandemic is over… Have a wonderful weekend and think happy thoughts.
    Sandee!

    • Yes there will be dancing in the street. We’re home for the weekend. No place to go and most everything is closed. 🙂

  20. What a lovely cat! I bet that fur is soft as silk and that color! MY sis had a kitten named Toulouse. He was exactly like the kitten in The Aristocats. He was a real beautiful animal. Thanks for sharing, I loved your answers on the fill ins. I am with you on the NFL and now NASCAR and many others. Kneel all you losers want, my DIL, her mom and dad have season tickets to Broncos and they cashed them in. I hope they listen to themselves sing their new fake anthem. I watch old Westerns with my hubby, we enjoy our own life and I LOVE music so I spend hours listening. I hope your weekend is grand! 🙂

    • Yep, they are killing themselves. Works for me. Taking things to far is never a good idea. Hubby and I watch movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Big hug for a happy weekend. 🙂

  21. The Canadian Cats – Prince George, BC, Canada – I have been married for like AGES and AGES according to Shoko. A whole 47 years. Shoko is my only young'un. Bill and I have lived in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada for 34 years. Gardening is my passion and also Shoko's passion. Bill's passion is being included as a member of Shoko's family.
    The Canadian Cats

Very good fill ins, Sandee. I forgot about sports….don’t like watching it either. Neither does hubby so I never think about it.

    Have a glorious weekend.

    Jean

    • We don’t have television, just Netflix and Amazon Prime. Less stress that way. You have a glorious weekend too, Jean. 🙂

    • Thank you my friend. Thanks for being such a loyal participant too. 🙂

  22. Jim – http://www.jimmiehov6.blogspot.com – I'm a Senior Blogger. Are there any others anymore? Yes, the poets and real writers are still practicing and pushing their wares. A lot of the younger set though has migrated to FaceBook and Twitter which are pretty much social. I like my real Blogger Friends and would like to keep them, hoping they'd like what I write and how nicely I answer their comments.
    Jim

I am in love with this grey cat if this is possible, so nice, intelligent and fun appearing. If you have too many I will adopt this one from you!!
    🙂 🙂
    My this weeks questions:
    1. When this pandemic is over, I will travel some more and visit my distant relatives again. Also Mrs. Jim and I will visit New Orleans again to eat some Beignets again. I have been off donuts now for 16 years and so I won’t consider them as being donuts.
    2. I have zero interest in riding bicycles again since my knee joint replacement for fear of falling and messing my leg up.
    3. I always look forward to college football season.
    4. Fire eating is the bane of my existence though I have survived a sword being pressed through my neck.
    🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Yikes on the fire eating. That’s a story in itself. I’d like to hear about it. Thanks for playing along, Jim. 🙂

I am sorry if I mislead you. I have never eaten fire and I dont want to. The sword through the neck happened on a cruise ship where I was asked to be a magician helper.

Beautiful cat! Such a striking contrast between the eyes and the fur. 💖 I’m with you on the masks! They are rather cloying, but such is our reality, these days. Hopefully, they will find a vaccine, sooner than later. Have a lovely, peaceful weekend!

    • It is a beautiful cat indeed. I just have trouble breathing. Not all the time, but if I’m in a hurry I start to panic. I’ve rushed outside to rip that baby off more than once. 🙂

I get it! Between claustrophobia, COPD (mild) and allergies, breathing well is a real concern for me, as well. 😛 Hoping next year will be easier! In the meantime, all we can do is take one day at a time. (And stay home or outdoors as much as possible. LOL)

  24. That looks like my kids’ aunt’s cat. 🙂

When this pandemic is over, I will breathe a sigh of relief. 😉
I have zero interest in science fiction novels.
I always look forward to having all of my kids together (it gets harder as they get older).
Right now, thunderstorms are the bane of my existence (because they are keeping me from getting out for my exercise regularly).

    • Yes it gets harder to get everyone together when they get older. I’ve noticed that too. Thanks for playing along. 🙂

  25. What a gorgeous photo of a gorgeous kitty. Sandee, we hear you on your fill-ins, for sure. It’s going to be nice to go without a mask when this pandemic is finally over. Have a great Sunday, my friend!

    • I can’t wait to be able to breath properly. It’s the panic attacks that freak me out. I have to go slow or I will hyperventilate. Happy Sunday. 🙂

  26. OH WOW..those eyes are amazing! Love your answers. Here are mine~
    Here are this weeks questions:
    1. When this pandemic is over, I hope I feel like being around people.
    2. I have zero interest in sports.
    3. I always look forward to love from my furs.
    4. Fibro is the bane of my existence.

    • Thanks for playing along. I knew three and four would be your answers. Have a great Sunday. 🙂

  27. What a precious kitty! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I cannot wait until these days of masks are over. Summer is one of the times my asthma acts up the most, and sometimes summer air just isn’t that easy for anyone to breathe. When you add a mask to that, it’s downright torture. I’m lucky that my workplace is small yet widespread and so we don’t have to wear a mask while working. If I did have to wear one all day, I’m not sure I wouldn’t just pass out. I hope your week is wonderful!

    • I hear you about the mask. We’re back in lock-down here and not sure why. We don’t have the numbers for a lock-down, but locked downed we are. Thanks for co-hosting the fun. 🙂
