  1. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. Awwww – that puppy and kitten are adorable. Hope you have a fantastic week!

    • I thought they were too. Not often you see a dog and cat get along so well. You have a fantastic week too. 🙂

Our cats and dogs generally get along. Purrseidon’s surrogate mom was Saphera (dog) and many of her friends are canines… Mr. M tolerates most dogs, too, but draws the line at Ms. Cricket, a cockapoo, who lives down the street … he would like her just fine if she didn’t want to lick the stuffings out of him.

Looks like the catkins is whispering a secret. I always knew pets conspire with each other when we’re not looking!
    Lovely photo 🙂

    • You’re most welcome, Annie. I so love doing both Awww Mondays and Sparks. I look forward to finding some quote that is either a reminder or something I already do. Sometimes it’s something I need to do. Big hugs back. ♥

    • I would love to have these two. What fun it would be. Thanks of the Spark. Sometimes we need to live in the moment. 🙂

  3. Sandee,

Excellent Aww Monday moment! Ah, good quote! I say be happy where you are. You can’t change the past and tomorrow hasn’t happened, so live in the now and be happy! Have a spakletastic week.

    • I’m sure that they do. Probably were babies together and that’s why they get along so well. You have a super Monday too, Marg. 🙂

    • Slobbery is something else where dogs are concerned. I so remember. I’m glad you like the Sparks. Love back. 🙂

    • We love to start the week off with an Awww. It’s the best way to face money. Happy day to you too. Scritches to Zoe. 🙂

    • I knew someone like that. Always something better to come along. As far as I know he’s still waiting. Love it. 🙂

  6. Jim – http://www.jimmiehov6.blogspot.com – I'm a Senior Blogger. Are there any others anymore? Yes, the poets and real writers are still practicing and pushing their wares. A lot of the younger set though has migrated to FaceBook and Twitter which are pretty much social. I like my real Blogger Friends and would like to keep them, hoping they'd like what I write and how nicely I answer their comments.

Awww ~~ Wonderful find, Sandee. Looks like the Sheltie pup and the kitten have become good friends. I’m not sure though, that it goes so far as to share the blanket.
Have a nice week, Sandee. 🙂

    • I understand that if they are raised together they may get along. I’ve never tired having a kitty and a pup. I’ve know many that do though. You have a nice week too, Jim. 🙂

oh, it’s Monday already! Love Mondays cuz you always have the cutest pics. Like today. They are adorable.

    • Starting off the week with a smile is a fun thing to do. Mondays used to be my least favorite day of the week. Now that I’m retired everyday is either Saturday or Sunday. 🙂

  9. Josie Two Shoes – Texas – I've been blogging off and on since August of 2006. I adopted the pen name Josie Two Shoes in 2007 as I began a new chapter of my life standing on my own two feet. Now I'm married to the man of my dreams; we live in dusty West Texas with a house full of furkids. I am an Aquarian by birth, and although I am closing in on 70 and slightly frayed around the edges, my fascination with this thing called life continues. Faith, family, and friends are important to me; so are honesty, trust, tolerance, compassion and kindness. I'm pretty up front about most things, so if you want to know something more about me, just ask! :-) You can also reach me by email and find me at my Facebook page.

Your Awww photo is so sweet, kitties and puppies make the best of friends! <3 Your Sparks quote is right on target, even if we don’t see our past as wonderful, it was comfortable because it was familiar and we tend to get stuck on what is familiar. While it’s true that the present can be difficult, and the future can be scary, I have learned that if we take life ONE DAY at a time, we will always be given what we need to get through it and if we maintain an attiude of openness to what we can learn from it we will be blessed. Every day is a good day if we make up our minds for it to be! I figure if God has kept me going for 64 years, He will take care of me to the end of my journey here, no matter how the path unfolds. Faith gives us hope! Have a wonderful week, Sandy! <3

    • What a wonderful way to look at life. It’s spot on Josie. Thanks for weighing in. You have a wonderful week, too. 🙂

    • Yep, once they are friends all is right with the world. Sometimes it’s not easy being friends for dogs and cats. Yes the quote is so true. You have a quotetastic AM, too. 🙂

  10. Michelle – Hi, I am Michelle, I am married to a wonderful Christian man & my best friend ever, in the world. We live in the Peachy state of GA. I hope to inspire and encourage you through my blog posts.

When I was a child I had a dog & cat that loved each other just like this picture.
We got them when they were both weaned, so they grew up with each other 🙂

Hope you are having an awesome Monday.

    • Apparently that is key to them getting along and sometimes that doesn’t even work. I’m sick today with a sinus infections so I’ve had betters days. This is day four of feeling awful. 🙂

The Australian Shepherd has something to say about all this cuteness and I’m not sure he’s pleased. I think the kitty will eventually rule the roost though. Sorry about my long post today, but there is a kind of Awww, that cat is going to eat your dinner moment at the end.

    • I loved your awww today. That kitty did look like it wanted some of that fish. Can’t blame it one bit either. Fish and cats just go together. 🙂

  12. Awwwww Sandee 🙂
This picture made me smile and feel warm and fuzzy. I’m loving this quote from Marcel Pagnol, it’s very very true.
Have a great week my friend.

    • Thank you, Carol. I feel pretty miserable. Better today, but I’ve along way to go. Scritches to Zoe. 🙂

I write situational humor most of the time, but actually, there is no telling what I might turn out. Aww… I love photos of kittens and puppies…Who says they’re natural enemies? Spectacular spark too!

    xoxo

    • I thought they were a most adorable little couple of furrbabies. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂

Hi Sandee, this is an Awwww! Tuesday for me. That is adorable, I hope they grow up to be firm friends.

    xx

    • It doesn’t matter what day we get our Awww as long as we do. I think these two are off to a good start. 🙂

    • I think we’ve all been guilty of this one from time to time. I know I have. You be well too, Darla. 🙂

  15. Michelle – Hi, I am Michelle, I am married to a wonderful Christian man & my best friend ever, in the world. We live in the Peachy state of GA. I hope to inspire and encourage you through my blog posts.
    Michelle

Sandee, I like your spark of the week.
Thank you for always stopping by my blog and leaving kind comments 🙂

    • Thank you, Michelle. I love doing this exercise each Monday. It reminds us what is important and what is not. 🙂

  16. I never knew dogs and cats would get a long like they do until I brought Lily into my home as Dakotas pet!!! Him being the only one for 10 yrs I took a chance in even thinking he needed a playmate but to pick the one I picked and taking that chance was something else all on its own. It totally warms my heart to see them lay today, or play together. They have brought so much happiness to my life.Great pic.

  18. Cute babies! I bet they’re a lot of fun! I like your spark too. I’m learning to live in the moment and it’s made me way happier than worrying about the past or being anxious about the future. 🙂

Hope you’re having a great week! Mine is slow. And busy. Did I mention slow? Ugh.

    • I know you’ll be happy when tax season is over this year. I always think about you during this time of year. I also know you’re living in the moment. You need to go to your happy place. 🙂

    • They are a couple of cuties that seem to like each other. I love it when pups and kitties like to hang out together. 🙂

  19. That spark is so true. Too many people look back on their lives and think they should have made different decisions to have a better life, when at the time they made the only decision that was available to them at the time. We need to take the time to really be in the present and be thankful for that.

    • I agree. I’m thankful for every day I have. I’ve made some great decisions and I’m made some poor decisions, but those decisions made me what I am today. I’m good with that. 🙂
