WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
More About Cats
It’s been scientifically proven that cat owners are healthier people. Patting a cat has been proven to release oxytocin, which lowers stress levels.
There’s also a clear link between cat ownership and a lowered risk of strokes or heart problems, as a cat’s purr lowers blood pressure.
Most importantly, cats keep you from being lonely – and it’s now known that loneliness plays a big part in many diseases! Source: The Facts Site

Good points, and most of them apply to dogs as well. Pets enrich our lives. 🐾💖🐾 Happy Wednesday, Sandee! 🌞 Thanks for hosting the link party. 🌹
I agree that it works for dogs too. Our babies bring us so many wonderful things. Happy WW and rest of the week, Debbie. 🙂
Our pets are many things to us……for some of us they are our only children, they are “soul-healers”, they sense when something is wrong and come to our aid, they give us someone to talk to (!) when nobody else is around…………on and on and on. They are little miracles on four legs.
Hugs, Pam
They do know when we need them most and they are right there. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. A hug to you and lots of scritches to Teddy. 🙂
I agree I have 9 and they are so very comforting. 1 comes to my rescue when I start sneezing, 1 lays on my shoulder that I had replaced, 1 on my ankle that I broke many years ago, 1 sits on my head and purrs me to sleep. They are life savers, Joining in on the hop for the first time
They are most comforting indeed. We love our kitties. I’m trying to find you website. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
They make you laugh!
-Soma
They do that too. We love our babies. 🙂
And there are so fluffy! Adorable creatures, indeed,
with there vibrations!
Hugs, dear Sandee! Happy WW and a fine week!❤️😘
I love their purring too. You have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Suzana. Hugs. 🙂
I really miss our boys, but health reasons and decisions made us decide not to adopt another cat.
I know you miss your boys. I’ve always enjoyed your posts about them. Love and hugs, Jackie. 🙂
Even more reason for me to want a cat. Maybe some day
Cats are far less maintenance than pups. Both are wonderful though. 🙂
Great wordless Wednesday, that Cat’s eyes say it all MOL, LOL
You’re right about that, Crystal. Happy day and rest of the week. 🙂
I agree, owning an animal, dog for me, is a wonderful thing!
It sure is. I’ve loved pups and kitties all my life. 🙂
I would assume the same applies to dogs. To love our furkids is a wonderful thing.
It sure does apply to dogs. It’s a wonderful thing, indeed. 🙂
Not only are pets comforting, they give us a sense of responsibility. Pets care about us, and we take care of them. Happy Wednesday. Hugs.
You’re spot on as always Eugenia. Happy Wednesday, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Thank you, and a great day, my friend. ❣️
We think pets in general make people more happy and relaxed and we definitely keep humans from feeling lonely.
They do indeed and no matter the pet. I agree. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Our pets enrich our lives so much. I sometimes wonder if our cats and dogs understand us more than we understand them. Alana ramblinwitham
I think they understand us more than we understand them. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
I am definitely a cat person. https://readerbuzz.blogspot.com/2025/08/we-go-to-paris.html
I love cats and pups. I can go either way. Happy day and rest of the week. 🙂
Great points, Sandee! I know for sure our lives are better and happier because of our cats. Happy Wednesday to you, Zane, Squeaker, and Lil Bit!😊
We are on the same page as usual, my friend. Happy Wednesday to you. 🙂
I believe all of these facts. Although my Rusty can get my pressure up sometimes. 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
I believe all of these facts too. Happy WW and rest of the week. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. 🙂

Yes, dogs too. We loved our pup Little Bit just as much as we love our kitties. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
Our cats are family and they are always there for us!
We feel the very same way about our kitties. Happy WW and rest of the week, my friend. 🙂
I absolutely agree. I don’t have cats…sigh. But have babysat a few of them. I totally agree with the insight that there are well-being benefits, many of them intangile related to being around cats. Great info as always Sandee. I enjoy the facts and trivia you share. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Much love and light to you dear friend.
If you’re very busy you shouldn’t have pups or cats. They need attention and love. When we were working it wasn’t a time to have babies. You’re welcome for the trivia. I love trivia too. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
Yet wise advice Sandee. Caring for them takes time, and love. I like that!
Thank you for your kind support of the bloghops. Blessings to you and hugs.
Cats are purrfect!
Cat’s are purrfect, indeed. 🙂
There are so many benefits to having a cat!
There are, indeed. We love our kitties as you love yours. 🙂
Cats are pretty cool!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
They are indeed and so are pups. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
Cats provide companionship to a great number of people.
They do indeed. We sure love our babies. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
I love you my Only. I love our Kitties too. Your Loving Husband.
I love you and our kitties, my Only. Your Loving Wife. 🙂
That’s great 🙂
Thanks a lot for hosting WW, Greetings
It is, indeed. You’re welcome for hosting. Thank you for joining the hop. 🙂
I’m not surprised at this and would think these health benefits are there for those who have dogs. 🙂
I agree they apply to cats and dogs. We’ve had both and they were both good for our health. Love and hugs, Cathy. 🙂
Yes, furry family members make all of the difference!
They do indeed. We love our babies. 🙂
I have no doubt my cats have been invaluable to my health and wellbeing. In addition to all the above, I am very prone to anxiety and they seem very intuitive in knowing when and how to help with that.
They are most smart and know when they need to tend to us. Such comfort they bring. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂
I WILL JUST SAY AMEN X 1,000,000 TO EACH AND EVERY WORD.
THANK YOU SANDEE AND HUGS TO YOU AND ZANE AND YOUR RESIDENT FELINE DOCTORS
CECILIA
I knew you would approve of this post. They bring us such wonderful health and we love our kitties to the moon and back. Love you too. 🙂
Interesting – but I’m more of a dog person myself!
I like both pups and cats. They are all precious. 🙂
Love cats, although we do not have one ourselves, but our daughter and family does have one which we love and think its our cat as well
Thank you, Sandee, for the weekly linkup party. Happy #WW.

Kitties and pups are most wonderful family members. Thank you for all you do, my friend. 🙂
This is all so true and they’re the four legged angels on earth too👼Double Pawkisses for a wonderful day and week ahead to you, Zane and the kitties too🐾😽💞
I agree with you. Our Angel Little Bit visits us from time to time. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. 🙂
I sure can relate to all of that with my precious pups. I don’t know what I’d do without them!
It applies to kitties and pups. I hear you. 🙂
Excellent reasons for having cats! Hope your Wednesday has been going good ! ♥
They are excellent reasons for having cats. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week, Barbara. Hugs. 🙂
Is that the same for dogs or specific to cats?
I’m guessing dogs would fall into this tidbit too. Happy Wednesday, Lydia. 🙂
Excellent post and very true! All of it is perfect!
You’re very right about this, Yvonne. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Mom has never had a cat , but she is sure this is very true. As others have noted, dogs have the same power:)
Woos – Misty and Timber
Dogs do have the same power. We’ve had both dogs and cats and they all brought us great comfort. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Pets are so important to our lives and our health, it’s amazing.
I hope you and Mr. Zane have a blessed week. Hugs to you and scritches to your two little health improvers.
They are, indeed. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed week, too. Love you. 🙂
I was hoping our old gal (she was senior when we adopted her and we had her a good long while) would pass AFTER the boy graduated and went off to college because I knew he was going to take it hard. He surely did take it hard, we both did. She is very, very missed.
Big healing hugs. I know how hard this is. Love you. 🙂
Sandee, that photo looks like our Kizmet. Kizmet even has that little white patch on her neck. Those of us who have cats know just how true these statements are. Thanks for linking us up. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
You’re right… this kitty looks like Kizmet. They are true indeed. Happy rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to you. 🙂
This is another reason why Cats WERE WORSHIPPED as GODS!!!! MOL Epic post, loved it! Happy Friday Sandee, we hope your weekend is truy terrific!!! 🐾🐾
You’re right about that, my friend. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. 🙂
Great facts on cat ownership and similar to owning a dog. Thanks for reminding us of the joys and health benefits of pet ownership. 😻
I don’t see a lot of difference. I love pups and kitties and they all bring us such joy. A hug to you and lots of scritches to Wilson. 🙂
So true! and I saw first hand in the rehab home the changes in the patients when the therapy dogs came, 4 people brought their dogs to visit family and each time they stopped and talked to patients and what a lift it was.. Cats would be good if one that like to be petted could be found, I did see a therapy cat once.
I agree that therapy dogs help. Cats too. A hug to you and scritches to Beau. 🙂
While I believe SOME of that, I do not believe it all. I am not the poster child of fabulous health and I have been living with cats for over 30 years.
Okay. Love and hugs to you and scritches to the boys. 🙂
