  1. I’m ready to move in … no worries about someone else occupying the “loo”! I just need to buy a good vacuum first,
gotta keep that red carpet looking good.

    • I don’t think I’d like living there, but I would love to snoop around for a bit. 🙂

    • Yes, I don’t want the tour either. Let’s just roam wherever we want. I’ll go with you. 🙂

  2. Memories of Eric and Flynn – I started this blog to show my holiday photos but haven't added to it for so long, but you can see my other holiday photos at https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com My main blog is my cat blog at https://twodevoncats.blogspot.com

Such a beautiful staircase. I would love to explore on my own too.

  3. Sandee,

I’m a rule breaker, too. That’s why I changed my WW to not-so-Wordless! 🙂 I love staircases and want one in our next home just as long as the master bedroom is on the main level. I have visions of decorating the banister purrty for the holidays. 🙂 Happy WW to you, my dear!

    • You and I both are rule breakers. Good for you. Happy WW to you too, Cathy. 🙂

  4. It’s hard to not add any words, but we try not to be too wordy. Some photos do need more words than others. Happy WW!

    • I’m a rule breaker so I add all the words I want. You can do the same. Happy WW to you too. 🙂

    • I think you should invite all your buddies and we’ll enjoy a few days together. 🙂

    • I know I wouldn’t. I love right where I’m living right now. 🙂

    • Yes it is and you could lose your kitty for months or longer. 🙂

    • Lots and lots of cats. Wouldn’t that be a hoot. You have a great day, Marg. 🙂

  5. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Magnificent, but I wouldn’t want to live there… seems way to sterile and not homey at all.

    • Yes it would. I think we should all get together and tour it together and then have a great lunch together. That would be most fun. 🙂

    • No I can’t. I’ve been in some nice hotels, but not this nice. 🙂

    • I wonder if there are cats or dogs at all? That’s something we need to find out. 🙂

    • Yes it is and Steve has invited me to visit. You coming too? I hope so. 🙂

  6. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.

    Whoa…that’s a lotta gold to dust. 😊

  7. I am so unromantic! I see this photo, and think, ‘who wants to dust all of that stuff?’ LOL!

    • All the folks that have a job there. I’m sure there are many working to keep this place tip-top. 🙂

    • Me too, Darla. This is very busy. Happy day and be well, too. 🙂

    • I’m guessing there isn’t a thing out of place here. It’s beautiful. 🙂

    • No, I’ve three here and that’s more than enough. In fact I just cleaned the two upstairs bathrooms. Hugs back, Cecilia. 🙂

    • No, I don’t think they help many. Just saying. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂

    • No it doesn’t. I would rather have my home than this one. 🙂

    • I’d not seen the inside before. I just thought it would be fun. 🙂

  8. Marie aka Dolly! – USA – Trying to be a really good blogger. I love having friends all over the world. It's so cool & very interesting. I love hugs... they're good for the soul & the heart! So HUGS to all & they'll stay all over my blog for sure. As for as long as you want them!! You need a hug??? COME ON DOWN!!! Stay safe, healthy & happy. God bless you all! Be safe & be healthy & spending more time with loved ones could be trying, so watch your temper & this too I promise you in accordance to my heart you will be rewarded for it! If something bugs you just say you need time out & excuse yourself. Things will be fine after that. I promise. Hugs!..... I promise things will be fine now! Let us pray..... LORD! CAN YOU HEAR ME LORD? I'm sending up a small request. In the name of JESUS..... GOD bless you all from the bottom of my heart!!!! Being disabled wasn't any fun in the beginning, but now that I'm getting all my friends back from all over the world too & new ones too, I wear a smile on my face & I am content & happy once again! God bless you all! Amen... Thanks for the smile! Thanks for hubby's smile too! Now that I have friends I tell him your names and then he looks at me funny & says, "Oh yeah, sure! Riiiiiiiiiight!!!! OMG CUT ME LOOSE IN THAT PLACE FOR SURE! Come on girlfriend you get on one banister and I’ll get on the other and we’ll meet in the middle!!! bwahahahaha Wow! Only thing is I bet you can get lost in that place very easily. They probably have those soldiers all over the place telling directions, right? hmmm Just seems to me that…. oh wait, let’s give it to the people at the border I’m sure there would be plenty of room left over…. nahhhhhhhhhh I like the Queen I think she’s kinda cool. What a legacy to leave her family, right? Man, if only we were a princesses!!! Woo Hoo! Have a great week. We’re having our family Christmas Saturday. I’ll have tons of pics… and stories I’m sure! hahaha Love you gal… you’re duh best! HUGS

    • I love your banister idea. I’d probably hurt myself. I’m already a princess, because I said so. 🙂

  9. The word “opulent” comes to mind. One has to wonder, when was the last time any of the royals have actually seen every room in the castle? From time to time I would probably find myself taking a personal tour of the place and just marveling at the history that is at my very fingertips.

    • I would be taking a personal tour often. Just to make sure things were in order. Not all in one day though. 🙂

    • That’s probably true. You could probably hide for years. 🙂

    • I’m glad I don’t have to vacuum all those stairs either. 🙂

    • There are 188 staff rooms so I’m guessing there are a lot of folks that keep this place spotless. 🙂

    • Me either. I like simple and that’s just what we have. 🙂

Thanks for linking us up. What a beautiful place…Buckingham Palace. I just got a funny picture in my head of some normal person walking down the stairs in sweatpants and a ripped t-shirt. MOL! Hugs, Janet

    • Not that picture is in my head too and it made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that. Hugs back. 🙂

    • She is a real estate guru indeed. You have a wonderful day too, my friend. 🙂

I would love to explore that palace! On the other hand, the “conspicuous consumption” is a bit off-putting. LOL Joining you weekly #WW for the first time. Nice to meet you, Sandee!

    • I’m pretty sure the conspicuous consumption is alive and well everywhere here. Nice to meet you too, Debbie and thanks for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop. 🙂

    • I’m guessing there are worse places to get lost in. As long as I know where the kitchen and a restroom is I’ll be fine. 🙂

    • No, I’ve not watched that, but I am ever so happy I’m not a royal. 🙂

  13. I went to an investiture there a couple of years ago and stood alongside Paul McCartney in the Gentlemen’s Facility!

  14. oh my….I cannot imagine! Have a great day- sorry for my absence- not only are we still unpacking etc, but now
we both have awful colds…..probably from the stress……take care- eventually we will be back to normal! xoxo

    • Just get well. Moving is very hard and it take time to make sure things are clean before you put them away. i so remember. Love you bunches and lots of lovies to Miss. Lucy. 🙂
