  1. What a beautiful photo for this time of year! The colors of the leaves and the reflection are beautiful, and we can feel the cool air too.

    • Yes, it’s been a long and hot summer. I’m loving the cooler weather. You have a wonderful day too, Marg. 🙂

  2. Beautiful photo. The Bow Bridge in Central Park is one of my favorites! I work about two blocks from Central Park, so I get to enjoy this view on a semi-regular basis. How lucky am I? 🙂

Thank you for hosting, my friend. Have a great Wednesday!

    • Good for you. What a view you have indeed and I’d say you’re very lucky. I’m most honored to host WW. You have a great Wednesday too. 🙂

  3. Cleveland Amory always said there were times when NYC could be beautiful — when snow had newly fallen and softened everything before it was disturbed was one. It seems dressed in her autumn colors is another.

    • I can believe that. Undisturbed it is beautiful. And dressed in her autumn colors is indeed another. 🙂

    • Reflections are often cooler than the original. That ripple effect.

Thanks for linking me on your WW post today. Most appreciated.

You have an autumnaltastic WW too, Steve. 🙂

  4. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Love the photo …. Don’t know what it is about old fashioned stone bridges, but to my eye, they’re works of art.

  5. Good-morning, Sandee! Thank you for hosting the mid-week fun. It’s another gorgeous fall day here in east Tennessee with a chilly 43º and October is just about gone. Have a blessed Wednesday, my friend!

    • I’ve had the heater on the last two days. It doesn’t go on during they day, but the nights and mornings it does. Cold here too. 🙂

    • I would love to see Central Park too. In the fall of course. You have a great day too, Ellen. 🙂

    • You are most welcome, Patrick. We don’t get a lot of fall colors here so I always want to see all the fall colors from other places. 🙂

  6. Kismet – New River, Arizona. – I'm a 16 year old Indian Ringneck parrot curmudgeon in New River, Arizona in the wild west country. If you're a sunflower seed, you're dinner.

My peep used to drive from NY to central Connecticut via the Merritt Parkway with the top down. Glorious in October.

    • I’ll bet. With the top down and the wind in your hair. Nothing better than that. 🙂

  7. The Canadian Cats – Prince George, BC, Canada – I have been married for like AGES and AGES according to Shoko. A whole 47 years. Shoko is my only young'un. Bill and I have lived in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada for 34 years. Gardening is my passion and also Shoko's passion. Bill's passion is being included as a member of Shoko's family.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

    • My day has been spectacular so far. I hope your day is even better. Scritches to Marv and Ninja. Love you back. 🙂

    • How about we talk a walk together? Then we could talk and enjoy the scenery and each others company. 🙂

    • I search for cool stuff. Thank you for loving what I post. We don’t get a lot of color here. Mostly palm trees and they are always green. 🙂

  8. ChirpyDebs – Greece – Hello, I’m Debbie otherwise known as ChirpyDebs and thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. Now the children are all grown up I’m happiest when I’m out with the dogs or hiking a trail with my camera in hand. My blog is where I like to share photographs showing the wild beauty of Zakynthos that most people don’t get to see, recipes and other seemingly random things that come to mind.

Hi Sandee, what beautiful vibrant colours. I love the mirror effect in the water. It’s a view I’d happily enjoy whilst munching on a sandwich.

    xx

    • Reflections are amazing aren’t they. It would be a great place to have lunch. May I join you? 🙂

    • I would love to see the fall colors that way. I’ve either lived in evergreens or palm trees. 🙂

  9. WOWZERS!!! That is one amazing photo. Mom really misses not seeing all the vibrant fall colors from New England where she spent the first 37 years of her life.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

    • I hear New England is the place to see the fall colors. I’d like to do that at least once. 🙂

  10. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.

    • You’re a photographer so you know how to do these kinds of shots. Bunches of xoxo to Ms. Zoe. 🙂

  13. That’s a whole lot of lovely right there. My son has never been to NYC (only one in the family not to go yet). I’d love to surprise him soon. We’ll see. 🙂

    • I agree with you, Binky. This photographer knew how to take the very best photographs. 🙂

    • I’ve never been there, but if I was going to go I think I’d want to go in the fall. 🙂
