Mickey & Minnie Mouse
The actors who played Mickey and Minnie Mouse were married. Actors Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor, who gave Mickey and Minnie Mouse their voices, were actually married in real life. The pair stayed together for almost 20 years until Allwine died in 2009. Source: Best Life

I was boycotting Disney for their promotion of LGBTQ themes, including a transgender character and lesbian parents, but now I am told that the animators and writers are responding positively to parental complaints and placing more family-value ideals into some of their products. While the cynic in me says, this is just a ploy to avoid losing sales, the Christ-follower in me applauds any attempt to promote normalcy and common sense.
I don’t care who folks love. I’m not here to judge. I have my beliefs and others have theirs. We shouldn’t mess with other folks’ beliefs. The world would be a kinder place. Happy WW and rest of the week. 🙂

I know Walt himself was the first voice of Mickey, then several more have been hired to do it since. This is a new one on me, that the Mickey and Minnie from those years were married, it’s rather romantic.
