For every outrageously priced item like this, there is at least one idiot out there who is willing to pay the price. Even if I could afford something like that I would never buy it because without a doubt I would end up dropping it within the first week and breaking it.

Oh, I certainly am going out right away and buy a couple of those. Sounds like the ‘in’ thing to have. There will probably be plenty to go around. Sandee, You and Zane have one terrific day.

  3. MNL – My primary blogs are cactushaiku.com (poetry) and cactuscatz.com (my calico Pinkie, my cat art & photography, Midnight has passed so only past posts with Midnight). Hope to see you soon.

Wow! Modern tech and a Rex in one hand-held device. Hmmm, could someone give me $8 mill please? To buy the iPad? um, no. It would just be nice to have the $8 mil, laughing. I could give to charity and travel around the world in style with Pinkie and MIdnight.

Perhaps Steve will fork on over to Little Binky and Granny. That would be very nice. 🙂

Holy cow! That means that there are enough crazy people out there with more money than brains who are willing to buy that stuff. Heck, if they want to spend that kind of money, I’ll sell them my iPad for $1 million and save them all that extra. Of course, they’ll have to get their own diamonds and gold! But, obviously, they can afford to do that! 😛

  5. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. foguth says:

Granted, it would be easier to find that in the bottom of my purse, which has a black lining (and my cell is black) but why would anyone want something that pricy?!?

I wouldn’t want the responsibility. While living in Central America, I basically gave up wearing jewelry because some robbers wanted gold, etc. so much they’d literally cut your finger off to get the ring… A neighbor’s mom was strolling in the park after a nice evening meal and some thug ripped the necklace off her neck, cutting her neck in the process and she nearly bled to death.
Nope, bling is NOT for me!

Hmm…I have an first generation IPad that still works…well it works in its own little world. There is no way to bring it into this century. Do they make an IPad mini at half the price? Just asking.

Funny how things work when they age. Some of the apps work and others don’t. We had that problem with our electronics on our boat. All new stuff now and it’s wonderful. 🙂

I feel the same as you. If you can afford it and you want it why not. I would be terrified that someone would steal it though. 🙂

I write situational humor most of the time, but actually, there is no telling what I might turn out. If I had 8 mil, that is the last thing I’d buy! I could open my black cat sanctuary and save more animals than I can count. It’s like that Victoria’s Secret gemstone encrusted bra they make each year…foolishness!

      Comedy Plus says:

I agree with you, it is foolishness. I just wanted to do the most expensive hotel, the most expensive dinner and the most expensive trinket. I came up with all three. You’re plan to save more animals is a far better idea. 🙂

  15. Wanda – In the South. – I am a Catholic widow, mother, grandmother, friend and according to my kids just a little bit crazy. My faith is paramount in my life. Spending time with my family, especially my four grandchildren is one of my most treasured blessings. I love Redskins football, Phillies baseball, NASCAR, quilting, genealogy, and am a bibliophile and struggling blogger.
    Wanda says:

This iPad is obscene! But it sure has sparked some entertaining comments. Can you imagine how much good could be done with that much money? Just sayin.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Comedy Plus says:

I agree, Wanda. I could find so many worthy charities to do some good. Saving animals, saving babies. So many things. 🙂

I can’t imagine anyone having so much money that they would buy this when there are so many other things they could spend their money on. I guess this epitomizes the saying, more money than sense.

You’re right, Pam. There are many that have so much money that they have no real value of that money. Being comfortable is far better. 🙂
