Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park is an American national park located in northwestern Montana, on the Canada–United States border, adjacent to Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada—the two parks are known as the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. The park encompasses more than 1 million acres (4,000 km) and includes parts of two mountain ranges (sub-ranges of the Rocky Mountains), more than 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants, and hundreds of species of animals. This vast pristine ecosystem is the centerpiece of what has been referred to as the “Crown of the Continent Ecosystem,” a region of protected land encompassing 16,000 sq mi (41,000 km). Glazier National Park is a place we hope to visit one day but not in the winter. lol This is really a beautiful scene but as I sit here with our temperature finally almost 9º and nearly a foot of snow on the ground all I can think about is spring. 🙂 Happy WW, Sandee!

We got freezing rain last night and it’s snowing right now again. I don’t think it’ll amount to much but our side streets are iced over. Our daughter has been snowed in all week and unable to go to work. Our son has been getting a ride from a work buddy since he has a 4-wheel drive trunk. Of course, nothing goes on ice very well. The interstates and major arteries look good from the traffic cams while residential area are a nightmare.
Incidentally, I updated my Thursday post to include your WW link back so that I can participate. This might be a good way for me to do things when I don’t have a dedicated post of mid-week. I hope that’s okay with you! 🙂
