Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

Snake River

The Snake River travels through Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. The name Snake River comes from the Snake, or Shoshone, Native American tribe. The river drops from an elevation of 9,800 feet in northwestern Wyoming to 340 feet above sea level in Washington, making it useful for powering hydropower dams.

Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Zina, Keith, Cathy, Sara, CatSynth, Diana, and Suzana.

  5. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.

That’s a really pretty photo. I always find it amazing that rivers can be so calm in some places, and have raging rapids somewhere else (as is certainly the case with the Snake River). Thank you for sharing, and for hosting, Sandee. Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

  7. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!

That’s very beautiful Sandee! Have a lovely Wednesday and week! Hugs! 🙂 <3

I have read maybe 1000 westerns in my lifetime or more and the Snake River was a huge part of most of them. Its funny how my mind has retained things like this and not the daily things I need to know..

I hadn’t thought about the westerns. You’re right about that. 🙂

When I’m out at the park, I see lots of folks in camoflauge, with little cameras and huge lenses.
They are hunting birds to photograph, but I can imagine how hard photographers work to capture an image like the one you’ve featured today.
