Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge

I’m happy to say that hubby and I have walked across this bridge. The views are spectacular.

It’s an amazing capture! It makes me think of the San Francisco I knew from the 90s, I’m missing those days.. hoping that one day I get to take a photo again with the San Francisco Bridge as background.
Have a lovely week! Happy WW!

Lovely photo of the bridge. The Lisbon, April 25th bridge is a copy and I believe was designed by the same person. I posted sunset photos of it back in January, https://allatseawithme.blogspot.com/2022/01/wordless-wednesday-sunset.html
I would love to see the Golden Gate Bridge but will have to make do with Europe!

I remember that bridge post of yours. It does look similar. We know a guy that painted that bridge for years. He’s retired now, but we found it fascinating. 🙂

My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!

I actually got here early enough to add our link myself. When I was a kid, it always frightened me when we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, and a friend’s son committed suicide by jumping off of it, so I prefer looking at it from afar. Good photo though. Hugs, Janet

We have also walked across this bridge- such a wonderful walk we had! Took the Sausalito ferry to San Francisco- walked to Little Italy and had a great lunch at Pinocchio’s restaurant ( which is now permanently closed) Then we walked from there to the Golden Gate and back down to Sausalito! About 11 miles- I think that was in 2010. Have a lovely day today! hugs to you and Zane! xoxoxo

It’s a fun thing to do. There’s a parking lot on the north side of the bridge and that’s where we parked. Fun place. I love Sausalito too. 🙂

I’ve always like the bridges. Even when I see these kind of images, they look a little bit fragile!
Thank you, Sandee! I suppose was quite spectacular to be there, on that bridge!
Happy WW and a fine week ahead!

  14. Curious as a Cathy says:

How long is that bridge? It would terrify me just to cross it in a car. I remember when we went to Florida there were a few long bridges that we traveled over and it was all I could do to keep my eyes open. All I can say is I’m glad I wasn’t behind the wheel. 🙂

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

It’s 1.7 miles long, so it’s pretty big. Hubby hate driving over bridges. 🙂
