    Beautiful. It reminds me of long ago and a school trip to Switzerland the year I finished my studies. It was a hot mid August day and a group of us decided to have a swim in a lovely mountain lake. I will never forget the shock of just how numbingly cold it was!

  9. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new!   21. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores.     The Hubby doesn’t like to travel, which is fine bc that makes him a built-in catsitter.
    However, during the pandemic, he’s been watching travel shows on TV, and now says he really doesn’t have to travel ’cause he’s seen everything already! OH!

    That is a beautiful place. I always click on the pic to get the info and according to Trip Advisor it’s a cool place to visit too. It looks very remote but apparently it’s not really. There are things to do around the area before you walk down to the lake. Anyway. It’s cool. Thanks for sharing and thanks for expanding my mind beyond all things politics and covid. – Love you!

  42. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions.
