We’re participating in the scavenger hunt party for RaenaBelle. The party begins at DezizWorld.com on June 5th 2019. You’ll need to collect 7 answers from 7 different blogs, links can be found at DezizWorld, and then leave them in the comments of the party post.
Today I’m thankful that I can help with RaenaBelle’s third Birthday and Gotcha Day Scavenger hunt. Awnty Sandee is always ready to help her kitty pals. So here’s the question:

Q: What species do cats belong to?

Q:What cat loves pizza? (there is more than one right answer)

Q:What cat has his own comic strip?

Q: What color are RaenaBelle’s eyes?

Q:What cartoon cat is 100 (1919) years old?

Q:Which cartoon cat starred with Tweety Bird?

Q: What cartoon cat was named after a skunk?

Here’s the list of participants:
Our Sweet Awnty Sandee of Comedy Plus
Our Pawsum Awnty Mimi of Messy Mimi’s Meanderings
Our Furtastic besties Timmy, Einstein, Buddy, Rumpy, Toby and Miss Fitz of Tomcat Commentary (the post will go live with gawjus Fitz on Friday)
Our Texas besties Travis and Angelique of Lone Star Cats
Our Amazing besties Annie and Pierrot of Gooey Lounge
Our Funtabulous besties Tuna, Mackerull and Dai$y of The Tabbies of Trout Towne (the post will go live tomorrow, Wednesday 5/30/2019)
Our Dear Awnty Ellen of 15 and Meowing

What are you thankful for today?

    • Yes indeed. Mom Audra is going to have a great birthday party. 🙂

    • Yes indeed. I’ve not a crafty person at all. 🙂

  1. We love our internet friends, but cats are on our naughty list at the moment. Sophie is waking us all up at 4 am, and we are not happy about that!

    • Oh no. I hope Sophie gets her act together. I remember those awful habits. 🙂

    • At least he didn’t do that here. He did enough other stuff, but not that. 🙂

    • We’re going to have a lot of fun. You have a perfect day too, Marg. 🙂

    • I know you do and I’m happy about that. Have a nice day too. 🙂

    • Yes we need to remember to be thankful each and every day. 🙂

  2. We hope sweet Raena has a most wonderful Birthday and thanks for helping them with the hunting. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

    • I love those kitties. I love your kitties too. 🙂

    • Me too and you’re one of those blogging friends. 🙂

  3. Thankful for the luxury of having solitude and not be forced see people unless I choose to. That’s a massive luxury to have – I remember when I had no choice and it was exhausting!

    • I can do that now that I’m retired. I love it too. 🙂

    • Yes they are and I’m right in the middle of this one. I’m happy about it too. 🙂

Happy birthday to Raena Belle! Today I’m thankful for the job God chose for me – stay at home homeschool mom. 💕

    • It’s good to have a job you love. I had one too. 🙂

    • Yes I’m thankful for sunshine and we have that today. 🙂

  5. Am I supposed to leave the answer to your question here, in comments…? Is the party post going to be on DezizWorld? Sorry, I’m rotten at following directions…LOL!

    • There will be a post at Deziz World on the 5th. I’m just one of the players. 🙂

Ooh scavenger hunts? I love to scavenge especially if there are edibles involved. P.S. I can pretty much make anything edible. 🤣
    Your fur-iend,
    Elsa 🐾

    • I know you do. Nothing wrong with that. Love you Elsa. 🙂

  7. How have I fallen so far behind on your posts? The bunnies are adorable, the wordless image beautiful, and you made me smile, for sure. Be well!

    • It’s all good, Darla. We get busy from time to time. Be well too, my friend. 🙂

Aw what a funky way to celebrate with an online scavenger hunt. Surely cats don’t belong to a species though, they’re sent from outer space to take over the world by dominating every home, one household at a time 😂

    • They have taken over the world. We just need to admit that. 🙂

  9. Sandee,

The first thing that came to mind is feline but I’m sure that’s not exactly right and if it is there is probably a more scientific Greek sounding name associated with it. 🙂 I’m thankful for life in general. There’s a lot of craziness going on around me that’s driving me nuts but at least I’m health and alive, so I’m thankful for that. The scavenger party sounds fun. Enjoy yourself!

    • I love Audra’s kitties so I’ll do most anything for them. Yes there is a specific name for cats. 🙂

  10. this is a lot of fun !!! great idea by Audra, Dezi & Raena, …..da tabbies have their answer, and while wrong, I debate on whether I should post on Raena’s blog:

    KNOT BURD !! 😉

    • I think we post all the answers we put together on the 5th on Deziz World. That’s the way I read it. 🙂

Thankful for our precious kitty (Felis catus) Midnight! <3 xo

    • It’s good to be thankful and having a precious kitty rocks. 🙂

  13. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. 14. Happy birthday dear Renae, that’s so wonderful!

I have a question re Feline Friday. I and my cat Barry would love to participate in Fline Friday, However we can’t do images due to me being blind and Barry, though he has a lot of powers, can’t operate a smartphone or camera. Could there be an extension to the linkup for stories about cats or whatever?

      • What I mean is the linky is now about pictures or videos only, which is good but I’d like to see stories about our felines too. Because I’m blind, I cannot take pictures, so I cannot usually add images to my posts. I’d love to share about my cat Barry though and join in the Feline Friday fun. I’d also love to read others’ more wrody posts.

        • Yes, I get it. We would love to have you tell stories about Barry. See you next Friday. We also have Awww Mondays and that would work too. Welcome aboard. 🙂
