Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful that hubby and I got new phones. We had Samsung Galaxy S7s for years and upgraded to Samsung Galaxy S22s. What a difference. Wow.

TT

I’m thankful that hubby called AT&T to fix my issue with not being able to sign into one of my email accounts. That was fixed and then they asked if we needed anything else. We told her that we keep getting booted off our connection. She set up a service call and they showed up July 18. We had such old equipment that was what was creating the connection issues. He checked all three lines and gave us a brand new modem. We’ve not been booted off since. The best part? No charge. They referred to the service call as an upgrade. Even better.

What are you thankful for today?

Our old phones were so old you couldn’t update some of the apps. 🙂

Hooray for new phones. Mine has been acting crazy every now and then and I’ve been thinking about a new one.
Great service from AT%T. Nice that there was no fee. When I had a different internet provider Wade had called one time about a problem they were having. They said it was likely with the modem and they could replace it but it would cost us. We said forget it and switched to someone else.

We tend to let things wear out before we update or replace. We shouldn’t do that. The stress of things not working right isn’t worth it one bit. 🙂

LOVE the phone, I have the Samsung a10e and have seen the ads on TV for this phone you got. I researched and wanted one but not in my currently depleted budget. enjoy, they take great photos. I have a freind with one. yay for the new modem. we may need a new one again, when ours got out of whack, they told me it was free if I brought the old one and traded for a new one and I did that and it was great. now It might need to be done again. you have reminded me to call them and have it checked.

How wonderful sweetheart. Samsung has a great phone camera. In case you like taking pictures on the phone.

The DH upgraded mine to an iphone 13, early this year on our anniversary and I am floored by the images that get captured.

    Today I’m grateful for :

** My Blue Tokai coffee and Chocolate and Salted Caramel Croissant that I just had. Lip-smacking delish.
** Also grateful for the abundant monsoons in our neck woods this year.
** Lush nature swaying to the rainy breeze
** My birding jaunt over the weekend.
** A reunion with my kindergarten and high school friends yesterday.

Happy week ahead dear dear Sandee. xoxox

WOW indeed a thankful Thursday. I finally joined the 21 century about 2 months ago. I bought my first smart iPhone.
Previously I had a tracpone. I expect before long landlines will be a memory so I am slowly getting accustomed to iThings.
At least it works pretty much like my iPad. Next chore will getting my husband on board. He is not a fan of any kind of phone. LOL
    Hugs Cecilia

That’s greedy 😉 Have fun setting them up and playing around with them – it’s amazing when you’ve not had a new phone for a little while and then upgrade, seeing just what a difference a few years in tech actually makes!
