Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that today we’re heading to a yacht club event in Stockton, California. We’re meeting another couple on the river and travel to our weekend destination.

I’m thankful that hubby and I are able to still boat. It’s a lot of work loading and unloading, but it’s worth every minute. I would rather be on our boat than be pampered on a cruise ship. Our boating is much more fun.

I’m thankful that tomorrow will find many more boats all lined up to enjoy a weekend of fun at one of our favorite destinations, Stockton Yacht Club.

What are you thankful for today?

Stockton? Are they still in business?

  3. Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful weekend. There is nothing better than going somewhere with friends, at least it makes camping more fun, so I know you’ll have more fun too.

I know it sounds shallow, but I am thankful that I found a dress to wear to my anniversary date this weekend. I dread dress shopping more than a root canal.

That sounds like wonderful fun. At least it should be cooler on the water. Stockton is one of those places that is a bit too hot for me. Enjoy your outing. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  6. Gosh, that sounds like fun! Have a wonderful time. I wonder how I’d do on a boat like yours. The only time I’ve been on one was around 1970, Florida, on a deep sea fishing boat. I was fine till it cut the engine to fish. I never expected that I would get seasick! I was just fine again once they got moving. Go figure!

    • Some people get seasick and some don’t. You just never know. I think you’d be fine since we aren’t in the ocean. 🙂

    • We have a power boat, not a sailboat. I don’t know how to sail a sailboat. 🙂

I just LOVE boats! I need to come and visit you so that I can take a ride on your boat! I know I would love it! 🙂

    • You would love it. It’s most comfortable and there is so much to do. We could go for a cruise and stop somewhere for lunch. 🙂

I hope you had a great time in Stockton. ARe you out on the water this weekend? It’s so hot here — I envy you a lot! I miss ocean. Although isn’t Stockton inland, like very inland? Where do you cruise there?
