Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for all the people that take care of me all year long. The gal that does my nails and toes every two weeks. She’s worked in three different shops and I follow her wherever she goes. I’ve been one of her clients for at least 15 years. I’m thankful for the gal that cuts my hair the first Thursday of every month. I always make sure they are taken care of during Christmastime and I tip them well throughout the year.

I’m thankful for my dental hygienist that has been cleaning my teeth for 25 years. She and her son loves Starbucks so she gets a Starbucks gift card every December.

We don’t go out to eat much in the winter, but during the fair weather we have our favorite places to go while boating. We are thankful for all the folks that wait on us throughout the boating season. It’s hard work and we always tip well and tell them how much we appreciate them.

What are you thankful for today?

It’s lovely to read you’ve been with the same woman for doing your nails for the last 15 years. There’s something really nice about that. It sounds like you make a perfect customer with being appreciative and thoughtful (and leaving tips!)

I can’t imagine seeing the same dental hygienist, or even the same dentist. I need to go soon as I’m already well overdue because of Covid. All staff in my practice seem to change every 6 months. I’ve never seen the same person twice. I don’t like it as it’s always a risk who you’ll get the next time and I don’t like strangers in my mouth unless they’re kind and gentle 😂

Happy Thursday, both of you! Xxxx

It is good to treat those who give us great service, well. I would like to give our mail carrier a gift card but I am not sure what I could give him. He is always so helpful. we have a bartender who takes good care of us at Outback when we are able to get into the bar area. Chris is the kindest and most hard working kid we know. We alway tip extra well. He makes each visit a true dining experience. Love that kid. I bet your people think you are the best of the best. I know I do! Thank you for all you do here. HUGS and LOVE

I love how you came up with some “small” things in which to be thankful. Sometimes we overlook those people who show up for us in ways that are not super splashy. I’m sure they are very appreciative and thankful for you too. Merry Christmas and I hope you and yours have a fabulous 2022! I’m thankful for bloggy friends like YOU!
