  2. Sometimes it isn’t always easy, but we try to always be thankful for everything we have and get to do. The pandemic has made us really appreciate simple things a lot more.

  4. All so true. I just looked out the window and saw some blue between white clouds in the otherwise rainy sky, and I am thankful for that right now.

  10. Mr. Emerson’s quote was my favorite.
    Last night we went to bed with a Level 4 Severe storm(Tstorms, hail, tornadoes) alert for today (there are 5 levels). I was quite thankful to hear we are downgraded to a level 3. We have taken in all things from the outside that might be given wings by the wind. The birds aren’t thankful for that.

    • It was raining earlier, but the sun is trying to peek out. It’s going to rain some more today and tomorrow. We are having a calm day. Thankfully. 🙂

  18. 5 years ago today we bought the old farmhouse, and it turned out to be perfect! We turned it into a real farm a year later when we got our first chickens. It’s the best thing we ever did. It was almost the most stressful thing we ever did (selling our old house), but it definitely turned out to be worth it! I am so thankful we decided to do it, especially since we almost didn’t several times along the way.

  23. The Canadian Cats – Prince George, BC, Canada – I have been married for like AGES and AGES according to Shoko. A whole 47 years. Shoko is my only young'un. Bill and I have lived in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada for 34 years. Gardening is my passion and also Shoko's passion. Bill's passion is being included as a member of Shoko's family.
