Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that this year is coming to a close. We did lots of wonderful things this year even though Covid was a huge part of all our lives. It’s been a very good year.

I’m thankful that good weather is right around the corner. We usually start getting warm weather and spring blossoms in February. I’m ready for that good weather and the promise of spring.

I’m thankful that hubby and I have a laundry list of projects to do on our home next year. It’s a wonderful feeling to update/upgrade a place that we consider our castle.

Even in the midst of Covid-19, we are thankful that we can celebrate Christmas and usher in the New Year 2021 even though on a simpler and smaller scale. Thankful that there is hope for a better year and we can enjoy and appreciative all the good things in our lives. Have a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year 2021.

Yes Sandee we do have so much to be thankful for in spite of the nasty virus…Positivity keeps the mind and body in good form. Guess what Ruby, by Red Camellia has her first bloom. Earlier this week I noticed one bud (way down at the bottom) had a speck of red on it. This morning I noticed it is about 3/4 open. Thankful I got a photo of it (for Nature Friday) because currently it rains steady but harder and more wind this afternoon.
Hugs on Christmas Eve to you and your hubby

    Sandee,

Despite Covid, I consider myself blessed. DH has remained employed while working from home. Neither of us have been sick and the few times we’ve gone to doctors for routine visits things have gone well. And, I’m extremely thankful we live in a place where we can get groceries delivered from several retailers and even Walmart. This keeps us out of general population free from worry and possible contamination. I’m looking forward to better days in 2021, though. Have a very Merry Christmas, my friend!

Hi Sista, I’m thankful for a loving family and good friends. It was a rough year this year always something happening with my health and my son was missing. Well, first of all my son has been found. I’ve really decided he needs to see a doctor for his mentality (not sure if that’s the right word), but he needs someone to watch him and be on him all the time. He’ll say he doesn’t, but I truly believe he does. At least he’s alive and well. Praise Jesus. I’m thankful for my loving husband always being there for me. He’s a good man. No restaurant was open for people to come in last night it being our 21st wedding anniversary so we went home and cooked some frozen fish. It was good and we were together. That’s all that matters, right? So, we’re going to make homemade soup today (sort of a tradition in my family), and tonight is midnight mass. Gotta check on that today. So some last minute shopping is in order and I have to boogie on out of here. Blog is still under construction so I’ll let you know when I’m done. I’m so happy for you that things are going so well. Sending big Christmas hugs to you & the hubby & family! I love you my sista… I always will. You’re a good person and I’m so happy I met you. I just hope & pray some day we’ll actually meet. You’re always in my prayers & MERRY CHRISTMAS…. HO HO HO!!! LUV YA! HUGS
