The Fly:
My three year old daughter stuck our her hand and said, “Look at the fly I killed, Mommy.”
Since she was eating a juicy pickle at the time, I thrust her contaminated hands under the faucet and washed them with antibacterial soap.
After sitting her down to finish her pickle, I asked, with a touch of awe, “How did you kill that fly all by yourself?”
Between bites, she said, “I hit it with my pickle.”

I'm guessing this is a first child. Otherwise the mother never would have bothered with washing her hands.
I'm sure you're right Ann. After the second child this isn't a big deal anymore. 🙂
Pickles can make great tools 🙂
And this little gal proved it. 🙂
Good thinking to that child. Much less icky than doing it with one's hand. Sandee, you and Zane have a wonderful day.
Kids don't thing of germs like new moms do. 🙂
Heeheehee! Kid immune systems build up because of everything. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday!
Yep, she's well on her way to a health6y immune system. 🙂
LOL that proves pickles can be very useful sometimes 🙂
Have a twangtastic SSS 🙂
I love pickles, but never thought of them as something to swat a fly with. 🙂
That poor mother better realize that a fly might be the best thing that her daughter might have her hands on. Yuk!
Have a wonderful Sunday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Flies are nasty little buggers. I don't like them near my food in the summer. 🙂
Lol! I guess the poor mommy fainted!
I'm not sure, but she was probably a bit sick to her stomach after hearing that. :_
Oh, no!!! LOL! And you can't disinfect a pickle! 😀
No you can't. Not well anyway. 🙂
Whatever it takes. Resourceful kid.
She got rid of that pesky fly and ate her pickle in peace. 🙂
Now I know why my dog buried his bone—-so it wouldn't get dirty!
Makes perfect sense to me Ron. 🙂
Did not see that coming.
I didn't either, but it's so kid like. 🙂
Kids need to be exposed to yuccky stuff once in a while to build up their immune system. Let them eat dirt.
I agree with you and most kids do eat dirt among other dirty things. 🙂
Hygiene is the last thing kids think about.
For most this is true. I've a granddaughter that's pretty clean and doesn't like dirty things. 🙂
ewww too funny. Kids really need to not be in a safety box…let 'em eat a bit of dirt! Have a lovely day today!
I know mind did and he turned out okay. 🙂
lolol isn't that just how it goes!
Yes, it's just exactly how it goes. 🙂
That was cute 🙂
I thought so too and it's happened many times. 🙂
Oh no! LOL! That's hilarious!
It's hard to be a good mom sometimes. 🙂
that's called pickled fly…
Doesn't sound all that good Phil. Just saying. 🙂
That's one way to use a pickle.
Yep, and you made me think of a few more ways. 🙂
